UMYF CONSTITUTION
1. The outer cross has 8 points which stands for 8 beatitudes. Meaning every Christian must show these qualities in his life.
2. The 4 wings of the outer cross represents the 4 ways Jesus grew; in STATURE, in WISDOM, in the FAVOR OF GOD and in the FAVOR OF MEN ( Luke 2 vs 52)
3. The inner, or Latin cross, is empty (not like the crucifix which includes the body of Christ emphasiz
ing on His sufferings) symbolizes the victory of Christ over death emphasizing His resurrection. We worship a living Christ.
4. As the Latin cross stands in the middle of the emblem, sacrificial service stands at the center of all what we do.
5. The circle symbolizes our worldwide fellowship our fellowship with Christ and with one another. PSALMS 46 VS 10
'Be still, and know that l am God; l will be exalted among the nations, l will be exalted in the earth.'
