Today’s Medical Fellowship Sunday was a profound journey through strength, emotional healing, and the power of grace.
Here is a summary of our Sunday service :
The Call to Worship
Mrs. Gandanga led the service with a grounding call to Worship from Isaiah 40:29, reminding us that He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Teaching: Grief and Grieving Process
We were deeply moved by Ms. Mashumba’s powerful teaching on the grief and grieving process. She expertly guided us through the journey from Denial to Acceptance, articulating the emotional stages necessary for true healing to take place. It was a vital reminder that processing our pain is a path toward wholeness.
The Word: The Heart of the Elder Brother
To conclude the afternoon, Mr. Gandanga shared a compelling sermon from Luke 15:1–2, 25–32. By focusing on the brother of the Prodigal Son, he challenged us to examine our own hearts—reminding us that God’s grace is for both the wanderer and the one who stayed.
