BIBLE READING FROM: Ezekiel 37 vs 1-14(The Valley of Dry Bones)

God – Giving Ezekiel instructions/ Prophecy
Ezekiel – executing the task following the instructions from God.
Main Points that were stressed on
• The tongue have the power to change situations when guided or influenced by God’s presence.
• It have the power to create by speaking out the word (John 1 vs 1) through words came creation.
• We should guide our mouths to always speak positive always... With words of mouth you can curse or speak life in someone’s life.
• Speak positive/ life to the very dry places in your life by making declarations even when everyone is seeing dry bones in your situation.
• For an effective prophecy on your life we need to listen to what God is saying in our lives towards each and every situation (vs 3… Its Only Him who knows what is supposed to be done.)
• Main Point-( through the word of mouth, inspired by God you can create and resurrect dry areas of your or someone’s life)
Ezekiel – (God’s mouth-piece)
• He knew how to listen and consult God about each and every situation before acting, and he would ask God also on how to face the challenge.
• During the time of ‘Exile’ he managed to continue to seek God’s presence and even do greater things. *** (It’s unfortunate that in this time of lockdown people have been drifted from giving attention to God unknowingly) Stay connected even during hard situations, listen to God’s voice towards situations.
• For us to be able to hear God’s voice, we need to position ourselves, by seeking the kingdom, read his word for in it there is life.
• After listening, when executing what God would have instructed you, follow the right procedure (God works in phases/ steps). A mouth-piece can only receive the sound signal and transfer it as it is without changing the message, and delivers to the destination in order. Meaning we should not take the Glory from God’s work, acknowledge Him in all your ways( proverbs 3 vs 5) and also knowing how to address the issues received from God to the people. People should know that this is from God and should be delivered as it has been received. (Ezekiel always say, ‘The Sovereign Lord says:’ meaning he never took the fame and Glory, but he knew that as it is written, ‘’Sovereign’’ (In full control/ in charge).
Sovereign Lord – He knows what it’s supposed to be done and how (Ezekiel 37 vs 3)
• He wants us to communicate with him and put all our trust in Him
• He has shown us the power of the word of mouth, and He helps us by resuscitating and restoring whatever situation in our lives, to a better one than before. The dead people/ bones, before they died, they were not better than after resurrection when they were a mighty army.
• God’s timing is not ours, there was no hope for Israelites after they were scattered but after a long time the he turns the situation into a Glorious victory for His Glory and honor.
• Even if things are hard God can restore all things, an army was raised from bones, is it hard for Him change the life of the living.
Final Words
Let’s listen to God and prophecy life into our lives and situations
We should always acknowledge and address God’s presence in each situation in life.
Let’s reposition (Listen to God and reading/ studying His word daily) ourselves so that we can hear the God speaking to us in all situations for total restoration to happen in our lives.
We can share and study the Word in our homes and social platforms – Hebrews 10 vs 25 “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves to gather, as is the manner of some, But exhorting one another, and so much the more you see the ‘’Day’’ approaching.
