Christ’s Undistracted Poise
- Hebrews 10 resounds: “Lo, I come to do Thy will, O God.”
Jesus was not swayed by applause, threats, or shortcuts.
- When Satan offered Him kingdoms without the cross, He said, “It is written!”
- When Peter tried to divert Him from Calvary, He rebuked the voice of compromise.
- When crowds sought to crown Him prematurely, He withdrew to prayer.
- His face was set like flint toward Jerusalem. He was fit for His mission.
Saints, if Christ refused distraction, how dare we allow ourselves to be entangled by trivialities, divided loyalties, or half‑hearted service? The harvest is too precious, the souls too valuable, the mission too urgent!
Lay down distraction, divided loyalty, and inconsistency. Take up concentration, commitment, consistency, and fruitfulness.
