A Legacy of Devotion: SJI Sisters Celebrate Silver and Diamond Jubilees.

On 11 April 2026, Driefontein Mission in the Gweru Diocese became a center of gratitude as the Sisters of the Child Jesus Infant (SJI) honored decades of consecrated service. The Jubilee Mass, presided over by Rt. Rev. Bishop Rudolf Nyandoro, celebrated the 25-year Silver Jubilees of Sr. Tendai Puche and Sr. Epiphania Madzivire, alongside the remarkable 60-year Diamond Jubilees of Sr. Manyanye and Sr. Mukova.

The gathering included various community leaders and clergy, including Very Rev. Chagweda from the Diocese of Masvingo. Together, they reflected on the congregation’s profound impact on education and healthcare since its 1950 inception. The day concluded with the sisters reaffirming their lifelong commitment to serving the community with compassion and faith.
