Topic: Building a relationship with God
Scripture: Matthew 6vs 9
" In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be your name"
When Jesus was teaching his disciples to pray,He taught them to say our Father. This means that God is our Father and we are His children. UNkulunkulu ngubaba wethu. Mwari ndibaba wedu. We should not be afraid to approach him, in fact He wants a relationship with us. That is the reason why He sent his son Jesus Christ to die for us, so that we become part of the family of God.
God knows all about you, your failures and shortfalls. There is no need to hide anything from Him. The Good news is that He loves us and wants to help us. Let us come to the loving hands of our Father. Prayer should not be difficult, for it is our communication with the Father. I want you to say a few words to God, for He is ever ready to listen and He yearns for your affection
Prayer
" Father I thank you for the gift of life. I have come to the understanding that you love me no matter what and you care for me. Help me to build a relationship with you, for you are my Father. I want to know you more and Love you the way you love me. I ask for your guidance and protection for me and my family. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen"
