Calvary greetings evangelists, pastors and partners

AFM IN ZIM evangelism department has embraced intercession or prayer as one of its greatest asset for soul winning. It is in this regard that concerted efforts to have all-night prayers across the breath and width of Zimbabwe are being made especially in areas that not immediately earmarked for National crusades.

On the 24th of April 2026 Masvingo province is hosting one such all-night prayer at New Life assembly.

You are all cordially invited to be part of momentus occasion where souls and destinies are going to be reclaimed.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE PRAY AS GROUPS OR TEAMS?🙏🏼

1. We build spiritual unity

When believers come together for prayer it's more that a physical interaction but it becomes a spiritual exercise where supernatural unity is built. In spiritual unity there is spiritual strength. No wonder why great miracles i.e healings, the raising of the dead etc favours big gatherings of believers. The Bible has been explicit that when we are of one heart and one mind in the spirit of The Lord, He will show Himself mighty on our behalf

2. Exercise of Spiritual gifts

According to 1Corin 12 God has assured us of equipping the church with nine gifts of the Holy spirit. Group meetings or prayers are a fertile ground for the exercise of these gifts. As we put these gifts into practice we "excel" or grow in their application(1 Cor 14v12)(Acts 13v2)

3.God's will is revealed

The Holy spirit reveals the will of God to us when humble ourselves before him and each other. As we pray as groups we are brought into harmony of heart and mind. As this happens we begin praying , thinking and sensing what is on the heart and mind of God and this can be confirmed in the hearts of several people in such prayer gatherings(1 Cor 14v29)

One heart and one mind in prayer =Spiritual strength 💪 🙏

STRENGTH IN GROUP INTERCESSION

Matthew 18v19-20 "If two of you agree on earth in prayer about anything , it will be done for you by my father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name , there i am in their midst"

Deuteronomy 32v30 "One can chase a thousand , two can put ten thousand to flight "

Gen 11v6 "Behold they are one people and of one language. This is only the beginning of what they will do. Nothing they think of will be impossible"

The principle of "strength in oneness" is true for good and for evil. The power of people is multiplied when they come together for a common goal. As such team or group prayers
have greater power than when we pray alone.
Individual prayer is vital but in the above scriptures we learn that God will be with us in an unusual way when we come together in prayer.

United in prayer we stand🙌🏻

That emptiness!
That longing from within!
That strong desire!
Can only be filled by what has been set before the foundation of the world-Jesus Christ for "He has set eternity in the human heart"
Make Him Lord and saviour of your life 🙏
