*JESUS SHOULD LIVE IN ME*

*Galatians 2v22: New King James Version*
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I
now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
*Matthew 6v10:*
Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

⦁ As He is our hope of glory, we should live according to His will.
⦁ He should live in us i.e., we need to submit to His desires.
⦁ The timeline of a Christian should reflect a total change from the day of salvation.
*2 Corinthians 5v17:*
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things
have become new. - There is a constant threat to our submission to God's will - Jesus said you cannot serve 2 masters - Jesus said that anyone who wants to come after me must deny himself; Luke 9v23: Then He said
to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and
follow Me.
⦁ We are slaves to the one we submit ourselves to.
*Romans 6v16:*
Do you not know that to whom you
present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to
death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

*WHO INFLUENCES OUR DECISION MAKING or WHO HAS THE FINAL SAY*

⦁ Heaven is promised/predestined to those who overcome the world and its desires meaning who correctly
submit.
*Revelations 2v17*
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him
who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on
the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” ’

⦁ We should emulate Jesus Christ who came to do His fathers will.
*John 4v33:*
Jesus said to them, “My food
is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.

⦁ May the good Lord help us for we cannot do this alone.
*Romans 7v18-25*
18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me,
but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I
will not to do, that I practice. 20Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that
dwells in me.
21I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. 22For I delight in the law

✍🏾Stay in the word
✍🏾The world is speaking loudly and you need to meditate upon the word of God
✍🏾Do not compromise
✍🏾Do not compare yourself to the people in the world
✍🏾If Joseph didn’t have the word of God he would have slept with Potiphar’s wife
✍🏾If you lack the word of God you will flirt with and tolerate sin

WORSHIP THE LORD YOU KNOW

Matthew 16:13-19
When Jesus arrived in the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of man, am?”
And they said, “Some say that you are John the Baptist. Some say, ‘Elijah’. And others say, ‘Jeremiah or one of the prophets’”.
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
And Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God”.
16:15 This is a question that still comes to us all. The answer we give to it is of the utmost importance
In our modern context, we often encounter a plethora of opinions and interpretations concerning Jesus. Various philosophies, religions, and worldviews attempt to quantify His identity, and many can provide compelling arguments. Yet, understanding who Jesus is, requires more than intellectual assent; it demands the illumination of the Holy Spirit. As Christians, we recognize that humanity, in its fallen state, is limited in its capacity to comprehend spiritual truths without divine intervention. Just as Peter's insight into the identity of Christ was a result of divine revelation, we too, must rely on God to unveil the truths of His Word and His nature.
At first they gave a general answer which may be the opinion of some of them; check Luke 24vs 19-21
19 And He said to them, “What things?”
So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, 20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him. 21 But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened.
Acts 23:28-29 _ Claudius Lysias, To His Excellency, Governor Felix:
And when I wanted to find out the reason why they accused him, I brought him to their council. I saw that he was accused concerning questions about their law, but there was no charge against him deserving of death or bonds.
Acts 25:18-19 _ Festus to king Agrippa
When the accusers stood up, they brought no accusation against him about such things as I had supposed, but had some questions against him about their own religion, and about a certain Jesus, who had died, who, Paul declares, is alive.
- People tend to have a general idea about anything _ hence they can talk as is from an informed position.
- The same occurs about the things of God _ someone without the knowledge of God would like to speak about God and His church including their conduct.
- Just like the Greeks at Athens who worshiped but however to an unknown god.
Don’t Worship God with your understanding or ideas
John 4:24 states, "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." Not as their fathers or others.
- Paul desired to know Him more; Philippians 3 vs 10-11 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.
- God is available to those who seek to know Him; Deuteronomy 30 vs 11-14: Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. 12 It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” 13 Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” 14 No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.
- Jeremiah 33 vs 3; ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’
- Daniel 11:32: Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
Now is the time to seek the Lord
- Isaiah 55:6-7 :6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
- Paul would say that I don’t say I have made it my own, but I forget the things behind.
- Jesus is waiting for us with His hands wide open; John 6 vs 37_ All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.

Pray for a deeper revelation of Christ in your life and for those around you who haven't yet recognized Him as Lord.

“Now all the people gathered together as one man in the open square that was in front of the Water Gate; and they told Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded Israel. So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly of men and women and all who could hear with understanding on the first day of the seventh month. Then he read from it in the open square that was in front of the Water Gate from morning until midday, before the men and women and those who could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law. So Ezra the scribe stood on a platform of wood which they had made for the purpose; and beside him, at his right hand, stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Urijah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah; and at his left hand Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.”

(The story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego)

📌Faith through the fire is faith tested through persecutions, trials and the troubles of this word.
📌 These 3 men defied the order of the King to worship his statue in order to keep their covenant before God never to bow down to any other God!
📌When you stand for Christ he stands with us in fire
📌FAITH REFUSES TO BOW(Daniel 3:16-18)
📌This FAITH comes out of those who know and understand the GOD they SERVE
📌TRUE FAITH STANDS NO MATTER THE COST‼️
📌FAITH FACES THE FIRE (Daniel 3:19-23)
📌FAITH DOES NOT MEAN YOU AVOID TRIALS BUT YOU GO THROUGH THEM WITH CONFIDENCE IN OUR GOD‼️
📌In the midst of the fire they bowed down and prayed ( Same situation with Paul and Silas- when they were bound and thrown in prison they sung praises to God and an angel was sent to rescue them)
📌WHEN YOU GO THROUGH THE FIRE, JESUS CHRIST IS BY YOUR SIDE!
📌God is with you before the fire, in the midst of the fire and after the fire. At all stages he is there. He never leaves nor forsakes You❤️
📌FAITH LEADS TO VICTORY WITHOUT SCARS(Daniel 3:26-27)

Esther 2:15
[15]Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai who had taken her as his daughter, came to go in to the king, she did not request anything except what Hegai, the king's eu**ch who was in charge of the women, advised. And Esther found favor in the eyes of all who saw her.

The benefits of listening to advice kwete kuita humbimbindoga. For in the multitude of counselors plan succeed.
This verse highlights Esther's humility and wisdom:
