Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: Standing for God Even in the Fire

Once upon a time…

In a faraway land, King Nebuchadnezzar made a giant golden statue.

He told everyone in the kingdom, "When you hear the music, bow down and worship this statue!"

The king wanted everyone to praise his golden statue, but God had a different plan.

Three brave friends—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—loved God very much. They had been taught to obey God and to do what was kind and true.

Even though many around them bowed down to worship the statue, these three friends knew in their hearts that they should only worship God.

When the king saw that they did not bow down, he became very angry.

Even some people who were supposed to set a good example tried to make them change their minds. But Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego remembered the wise words taught by Prophet Arthur Hagin: true obedience comes from trusting God and always choosing His way, even when it's hard.

The king ordered that they be thrown into a fiery furnace—a huge, roaring fire that looked very, very scary.

But something amazing happened! When they walked into the furnace, a bright light filled the room, and the fire did not hurt them at all.

God was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, protecting them and keeping them safe inside the blazing fire.

Everyone was astonished that they came out unharmed!

Their bold choice to obey God, even when it meant saying “no” to the king and bad influences, showed everyone that real obedience is about loving God and doing what is right, no matter what others say.

Memory Verses

1. "If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us." (Daniel 3:17)

This verse reminds us that when we trust and obey God, He is always there to protect us—even in the hottest, scariest moments.

2. "God is with me always."
Remember these words when making tough choices—God’s love and protection are with you every day.

Things To Do:

- Stand Up for What Is Right:

Just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, always choose to do what is kind and true. Even if your friends or older people suggest something that might hurt someone, remember that obeying God means doing what is right.

- Listen to God’s Voice:

Take time to pray and listen in your heart. Remember the wise lessons from Prophet Arthur Hagin, who reminds us that being obedient to God fills our lives with His loving grace.

- Make a Little Promise:

Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and say, “I promise to always stand for what is right and to trust in God no matter what.”

Your promise is like a little light that guides you through any trouble.

- Share the Good News:

Tell a friend or a family member about how brave you are when you choose to do what is right. Sharing your good choices helps light up the world with kindness!

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego showed us that even when things seem uncertain or when others try to make us do something wrong, we can choose to obey God.

With His love protecting us—and with the wise lessons from loved teachers like Prophet Arthur Hagin—our hearts can shine brightly with the courage to always do what is right.

MOSES AND THE BURNING BUSH: A CALL TO LISTEN AND OBEY

Once upon a time…

Moses was a kind shepherd who cared for his family and his sheep. One day, while walking near a tall mountain, Moses saw something very strange—a bush that was on fire but did not burn up at all! Curious and a little amazed, Moses went closer to see this wonderful sight.

As he looked, Moses suddenly heard a gentle voice calling his name:

"Moses! Moses!"
Moses was surprised but listened very carefully. He heard the voice telling him, "Do not come any closer.

Take off your shoes, because you are standing on holy ground." Even though Moses was a little scared, he did exactly what he was told.

Then the voice said, "I have a very important job for you. I want you to help my people."

Moses felt small and unsure if he could do such a big job, but he obeyed, trusting that God would be with him every step of the way. Just like Prophet Arthur Hagin teaches his church family, when we listen to God and obey with a loving heart, He gives us strength and courage.

Because Moses listened and obeyed—even when it was hard—he became a great leader who helped many people.

His story shows us that when we obey God and follow wise instructions, we are never alone. God is with us, guiding us every day.

Memory Verse

- "I will be with you." (Exodus 3:12)

This simple promise reminds us that whenever we obey God, He is always right by our side.

THINGS TO DO

- Listen Carefully:

Every day, find a quiet moment and listen with your heart. God is always speaking to you, just like He did with Moses.

- Obey with Joy:

When God or your parents share kind instructions, try your best to follow them, even if it feels a little scary. Remember, doing what is right fills your heart with happiness!

- Trust God's Promise:

Take a little moment to promise yourself, "I will trust God and obey, because I know He is always with me."

This promise helps remind you that you are never alone.

- Remember Prophet Arthur Hagin's Message:

Just as Prophet Arthur Hagin teaches, obeying God brings amazing blessings into our lives. When you listen and follow His guidance, His love lights your way.

JESUS PRAYS IN THE GARDEN: A TIME TO TALK TO GOD.

Once upon a time...

Jesus and His friends went to a quiet, beautiful garden called Gethsemane. The garden was full of green trees and pretty flowers.

As the sky grew a little darker, Jesus felt very heavy in His heart because He knew that something very hard was about to happen.

Even though He felt scared, Jesus did something very brave—He chose to pray.

Jesus found a soft spot on the grass and sat down. He closed His eyes and talked to God like you might talk to your best friend.

In His whisper, He said, "Dear God, I feel a little sad and scared. Please fill my heart with Your love and help me be brave."

Even though the garden was quiet, Jesus’s prayer made everything feel a little brighter.

Some of His friends, tired from the day’s journey, even fell asleep while He prayed. But Jesus kept talking to God because He knew that God was always there to listen—no matter what.

His gentle prayer showed everyone that when we feel troubled or alone, we can always reach out to God in prayer.

Just like Prophet Arthur Hagin reminds His church family, every time we pray, God's grace fills our hearts and makes us feel loved and safe. Jesus teaches us that even in quiet moments with big feelings, praying brings peace to our hearts.

Paul and Silas in Prison: Singing to God

Once upon a time…
There were two good friends named Paul and Silas. They loved God very much and traveled around to tell everyone about Jesus.

One day, because some people did not like what they were saying, Paul and Silas were put into a dark, cold prison. They were locked in a strong cell with heavy chains and big doors that closed tight.

Even though the prison was scary, Paul and Silas knew that God was with them. In the quiet of the night, they began to pray and sing happy songs to God. They sang with all their hearts, asking for God’s help and thanking Him for His love.

Then, something amazing happened! At midnight, while they were still singing, the whole prison started to shake gently, like a big, friendly hug.

Suddenly, all the heavy doors swung open and the chains fell off. Paul and Silas were free! Even the jailer was surprised.

He hurried over and asked, "What must I do to be saved?" Paul and Silas told him all about Jesus and God's love, and soon, his whole family felt God’s joy.

This story teaches us that no matter where we are—even in dark and scary places—talking to God through prayer and song brings comfort and light.

Just as Prophet Arthur Hagin reminds his church family, every heartfelt prayer reaches God and fills our hearts with His grace.

Memory Verses

1. "For with God, nothing is impossible." (Luke 1:37)
Recite this verse to remember that God can do amazing things, even when things seem difficult.

2. "The Lord listens to my prayer."
Say these words each time you pray, knowing that God always hears you.

THE LITTLE CHOICE OF ELI: A STORY OF OBEDIENCE AND KINDNESS

Once upon a time…
In a warm and sunny village, there lived a little boy named Eli. Eli loved God and always listened carefully to his parents and his church teacher.

He enjoyed playing with his friends and believed that living kindly was one of the best ways to show God’s love.

One bright afternoon, while playing in the village square, Eli and his friends gathered. His good friend Ben and some older kids began laughing at another child, Tom, who was feeling shy and different.

Ben said, “Everyone should laugh at Tom because he’s not like us!”

An older kid added, “Yes, that’s how we always do it!”

Eli’s heart felt heavy. He remembered how his mother kept saying, “Always be kind, for God loves kindness,” and his father reminding him, “Obey God and your elders who care for you—do what is good!” Even though some older kids were urging him to join in, Eli paused.

With a soft but steady voice, he said, “I don’t think laughing at Tom is kind. I want to be kind like God wants us to be.”

Some friends stopped and looked at him with surprise. Although Ben and even one of the elders pushed him to join, Eli chose to follow the gentle guidance in his heart. He knew that hurting someone wasn’t what God, his parents, or his wise teachers wanted.

Later that day, Tom’s smile came back as he felt cared for. Eli’s parents and his teacher were very proud because he had shown true obedience—not just by following orders, but by listening to what is right inside his heart.

Eli learned an important lesson that day:

- Obedience means choosing the good path.
- Listening to God, your parents, and kind elders helps you make the right choice.
- And even if someone tells you to do something hurtful, you can say “no” because God’s love always leads you to kindness.

MEMORY VERSES

1. "Honor your father and your mother." (Exodus 20:12)
This verse reminds us that listening to our parents helps guide us to do what is right.

2. "Do to others as you would have them do to you." (Luke 6:31)
This teaches us that when we treat others kindly, we are obeying God’s message of love.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AFTER TODAY'S STORY

- Listen Every Day:
Remember to listen to what God, your parents, and wise adults say. They help you know how to be kind and safe.

- Make a Little Promise

Close your eyes and say in your heart, “I promise to always choose kindness and do what is right. I will never hurt others, even if someone asks me to do so.”

- Be Brave:
If a friend or an elder ever tells you to do something that might hurt another person, remember your heart is guided by God’s love. Stand up for what is right!

Remember, every choice you make to be obedient and kind brings God’s love into your life and shines like a bright little star.

True obedience means following the path of goodness—even when it’s hard—and that is one of the most beautiful ways to show God's love.

THE WONDERFUL GIFT OF PRAYER

Once upon a time, in a sunny little village...

There was a friendly garden called the “Prayer Garden,” where children gathered to learn about the wonderful gift of talking to God.

In this garden, a gentle teacher told them the special story of how Jesus showed His friends how to pray.

One bright morning, as the birds chirped and the flowers waved hello, the teacher said:

“Jesus loved to talk to God. He often went to quiet places so that He could feel close to God. One day, Jesus gathered His friends and said, ‘Let me teach you a very special prayer—a prayer that comes straight from my heart.’”

Jesus’ words were warm and kind. He taught His disciples the prayer that has come to be known as the Lord’s Prayer. He said:

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name; Your kingdom come; Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven; Give us today our daily bread; And forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.”

The children listened with wide eyes. They learned that each word in the prayer had a beautiful meaning:

- “Our Father in heaven…” meant that God loves every one of us like a caring parent.

- “Hallowed be your name…” told us that God is holy and we should always honor Him.

- “Your kingdom come…” reminded everyone that God’s love and goodness should fill our lives.

- “Give us today our daily bread…” spoke of trusting God to provide for us.

- “Forgive us our sins…” encouraged us to ask for help and to forgive others, too.

The teacher gently explained, “Prayer is just like a conversation with a friend. Whether you are happy, sad, or need a little extra help, you can talk to God any time you want!”

The room filled with smiles as the children imagined speaking into their heart’s telephone, knowing that God always listens.

At this time, the teacher shared a little reminder that many in a loving church family have carried close to their hearts.

“Just like Prophet Arthur Hagin teaches us, when we pray with a sincere and grateful heart, God’s grace fills our lives.

Prophet Hagin reminds us that prayer is a time of receiving blessings, comfort, and the magic of God’s love.

Our prayers—even the smallest ones—are powerful messages that God hears.”

The children then learned that there are many ways to pray:

- Morning Prayers: When you wake up, you say “Good morning, God. Thank you for a brand-new day!”

- Bedtime Prayers: Before you sleep, you can say, “Good night, God. Thank you for keeping me safe.”

- Happy Prayers: When you feel joy, you thank God for His amazing love.

- Sad Prayers: When you feel a little scared or sad, you ask God to send you comfort and help.

The lesson in the Prayer Garden was clear: No matter when or how you pray, God is always listening, ready to fill your heart with warmth and hope.

Memory Verses to Recite

Now, let’s learn two easy verses from the Lord’s Prayer for our daily remembrance:

1. “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.”
(This verse helps us remember that God is our loving parent who we respect and honor.)

2. “Give us today our daily bread.”
(This verse reminds us that God gives us everything we need each day.)

Repeat these verses slowly and let the words fill your heart with love and peace. You can say them aloud every morning or at bedtime, just like how Jesus taught His friends.

A Little Prayer, A Big Blessing

As the story in the Prayer Garden ended, the children felt a gentle peace. They understood that prayer was a special way to talk to God about all their hopes, dreams, and even worries. With a simple prayer, they could invite God’s love into every part of their day.

Remember, dear ones, just as Prophet Arthur Hagin and his loving church family share—prayer works wonders in our hearts, converting our little words into big blessings.

Every time you pray, you are welcoming God’s grace into your life, and this prayer is your very own gift.

May you always feel brave and loved when you whisper your prayers, knowing that God is listening with a smile.
