On this Good Shepherd Sunday, we join the Universal Church in prayer for vocations.

Prayer for Vocations to RSHM

Loving God,
You continue to call women to follow Your Son,
to live lives of love, service, and joyful surrender.

We thank You for the gift of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary,
for their mission to know and love You,
and to make You known and loved.

Inspire in the hearts of young women
the courage to listen to Your voice,
the generosity to respond with trust,
and the desire to serve Your people with compassion.

Raise up among us women of faith and vision,
ready to embrace the RSHM charism
and to witness Your love in the world today.

Bless all who are discerning their vocation;
guide them with Your Spirit,
and fill them with peace and clarity.

May Mary,
first disciple and woman of “yes,”
walk with them and lead them ever closer to Your Son.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

We invite everyone to watch the short film Guided by Grace, released today by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, Western American Area.

Inspired by the words of Father Gailhac, the film, directed by Cecília Brizuela, follows Sara as she begins to recognize God’s call in her life—a journey that also deeply touches her family.

As we approach the Day of Prayer for Vocations on April 26, we are reminded that each calling is a gift, one that invites us to trust, to listen, and to walk forward in faith.

“God will give you light and set your feet on the right path.”

Congratulations to the clinic for this milestone

Today marked a joyful and historic moment for the Gimboki community in Mutare as we witnessed the Blessing and Groundbreaking Ceremony for the RSHM Marymount Catholic Primary and High Schools.

The special occasion was graced by the presence of the RSHM Sisters, Bishop Paul Horan, Fr. Madondo, the Education Secretary Mr. Chibvuri, the project steering committee, and many enthusiastic community members who gathered to support this important milestone in Catholic education.

Despite the heavy rain, the spirit of the day remained strong and uplifting. The rain did not dampen the joy of the occasion; instead, it felt like a sign of blessing upon the beginning of this important project that will serve future generations of learners.

This groundbreaking marks the start of a vision to provide quality, faith-based education for the children of the community. We are grateful to everyone who made this day possible and to all who continue to support the development of Marymount Schools.

May this project grow and flourish so that all may have life, life in abundance. (Jn 10:10)
