Today, we remember and celebrate the children of Africa — their dreams, courage, voices, and limitless potential.

On this International Day of the African Child, we recommit ourselves to creating spaces where every child is protected, educated, heard, and empowered to flourish.

“Let the little children come to me
” (Matthew 19:14)

May we continue to walk together in hope and action for a brighter future for every child across Africa. 🌍💚

đŸŽ¶â€œSacred Heart of Mary, intercede for us, now and forever Amen.â€đŸŽ¶

During the moment of prayer and reflection, the sisters and candidates lifted their voices in song, offering a hymn to the Sacred Heart of Mary during our feast celebrations.đŸȘ·

Through music and prayer, we honoured Mary’s faithful “Yes” and her heart that remained open to God’s love and attentive to the needs of others.❀

May the Sacred Heart of Mary continue to inspire us to live with faith, compassion, and generosity as we journey together in hope.đŸ™đŸŸ

“You are daughters of the Sacred Heart of Mary, of that heart which so closely cooperated in the work of
redemption. This title alone indicates what your devotedness should be, with what zeal you must cooperate in the work of calling others to holiness for the for the glory of God... your whole life must draw others to God” (GS/10/VI/84/A).

Today, with grateful hearts, we celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Mary — a woman of deep faith, courageous hope, and wholehearted love for God.

On this special feast day, may we, like Mary, continue to listen deeply, and pondering in our hearts.

Happy Feast of the Sacred Heart of Mary!

Sacred Heart of Jesus, we trust in you!

Sacred Heart of Jesus, we trust in you!

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the heart that burns with divine love for humanity.

The pierced Heart of Christ reveals the depth of God’s mercy, compassion, and faithful love. From His Heart flowed blood and water, signs of the sacraments and of the life of the Church. In Him, we encounter a love that heals, reconciles, and restores.

The Sacred Heart invites us to rest in Christ’s love and to become witnesses of that same love in a wounded world, through compassion, justice, forgiveness, and service.

“Learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart.” (Matthew 11:29)

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

(Mateus 11:29)

Sagrado Coração de Jesus, tenha piedade de nós.

Today, the church commemorates the feast of the Martyrs of Uganda.
The Uganda Martyrs are a group of 45 young Christian converts—22 Catholics and 23 Anglicans—who were executed in the Kingdom of Buganda (modern-day Uganda) between 1885 and 1887.

They were primarily royal pages and servants who were put to death by King Mwanga II because they refused to renounce their faith or submit to the king's demands.

The Uganda Martyrs teach us that true faith requires unwavering conviction and the courage to stand for one's beliefs. Their ultimate sacrifice demonstrates the power of unity across different denominations and reminds us to prioritize spiritual integrity and forgiveness over worldly comfort or political pressure.
