BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY
Our good God gives us this both as an INSTRUCTIVE COMMAND and a BLESSING. Having been made the best of creation through being created in His own likeness, man had to fill the earth and subdue it. God does not desire carved images to be placed in His name. As a result, he had to desire having men instead, filling the whole earth as visible images of the INVISIBLE GOD! The mission would not have made possible without the creation of EVE and this means that when God wants to bless you, He creates an environment that is conducive for you to bear fruits.
Second, two things are emphasised here, FRUITFULNESS AND MULTIPLICATION. As for the former, there are spiritual fruits as much as there are material gains. The Kingdom of God brings with it all the goodness we deserve. Material things are good for our health, mental wellness, peace and prosperity through financial gains. Likewise, we need to feed our spirit with the word of God, raising our faith in Him through the accumulation of word wealth so that we shun all forms of wickedness and pursue righteousness.

On MULTIPLICATION, it is GOD’s desire to have the world filled with happy souls who have dominion over everything and reign supreme over all creation. God has already established His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven so humans have to fulfil a purpose for which they were created. The WEALTH with you has to be multiplied, the FAITH in you has to be multiplied, the RIGHTEOUSNESS in you has to be multiplied, tge KINDNESS, GOD’s presence in you has to be multiplied. When you look at everything that is around you, see how you can MULTIPLY it and become FRUITFUL!
