MISSIONS

▪︎ missionary work is not easy work,it is only fun when the missionaries are still in planes flying in the sky as we look at their pictures but as soon as they land & are faced with the great work to be done on the ground it will be a different story filled with restlessness,challenges & hardwork

▪︎ the servants of God moving to all continents & all corners of the world are giving the gospel of God to the people for free & strengthening the work,but they are not traveling by planes & busses for free,they are not eating for free & they are not getting free accomodation,every step of their journeys require money for everything to go well which they do not have but us as the church have to support them financially

▪︎ as FIG right now we are at the peak of spreading the gospel to the world,at the moment we have servants of God settling in Mozambique,we have servants of God focusing on Uganda & we have work that has just started in India,all such great work needs collective effort of each & everyone of us as Faith In God Ministries International inorder for it to be a success that it is why today Sunday 24.05.26 we were all required as the children of FIG to pay $1 per person including our children which will be channelled towards missionary work & that is why we have tools like SWMO whereby every month all offerings collected in one of our sunday services will go out to support missionary work

▪︎ the missionaries who go to other nations to preach the gospel will be having noone who they can turn to in times of challenges in the foreign lands as they will be starting a new work & hitting new ground,therefore when we send them off well equipped & well resourced we make the work to be much easier for them

Strengthening the work/ Pressing on towards the goal

▪︎ to press on means to continue pushing despite the resistance

▪︎ pressing on is spoke of when there is an option to either continue pushing or to quit

▪︎ to press on means to persuade

▪︎ a goal is a set target, they are those things we say to ourselves by such a time i must have achieved so & so

▪︎ Paul & company used to go & strengthen the gospel they had already preached to people before who had become christians because there were other preachers who were also moving around with an opposing gospel,Paul would preach that to get served people had to accept Jesus into their lives & hearts as their personal Saviour & that was enough, yet other preachers would come preaching that it was not enough to do that & that more needed to be done making the process of salvation seem complicated,& by Paul strengthening the work people were strengthened & the church grew in numbers

▪︎ in the same manner today we need strengthening of the true gospel in us that was preached to us & made us come into the kingdom for we have met friends,family & association that always try to dilute the gospel & disturb the progress that we have made in Christ,& as christians we also need to be constantly on the move strengthening the true gospel of the kingdom out there

▪︎ Paul whilst in prison wrote gospels that were full of positivity & joy,he wrote that we should always be happy & rejoice nomatter the situation yet he himself was behind bars & was writing to people who were free & living well,he kept pressing on in the area of his calling,he kept pressing on in his kingdom assignment,in the same manner nomatter what we may go through in life,nomatter how difficult the situations we may face we must continue pressing on & doing what God needs us to do & what pleases Him

THESE HANDS

▪︎ our hands are the most unique part of our bodies,the lines there-in are blueprints from God about our lives

▪︎ everything about our lives is written in our hands,our great destinies & great callings are right there

▪︎ we all have different fingerprints & noone else has the same as anyone else because God wanted to show us that He thought of us seperate from everyone else & gave us each a unique package special to us to emphasise how special we are as individuals

▪︎ we have some of us who are now buried in situations so much that our uniqueness can nolonger show,but we still are & God Has something uniquely special for each & everyone of us

▪︎ our hands are an extension of God's hands,He does not have physical hands so He uses our own hands to do what He wants to achieve here on earth,so the more we are using our hands the more we expose ourselves to God's

▪︎ after God Had created a man He rested because He was done with creating on His own,He Had created a man who was to continue with creation,so He only created water bodies & gave men the power to design turbines that would create electricity,He only created trees & gave men the intelligence to create furniture from them,even up to now there are things yet to be created & it can happen through our hands

▪︎ God's greatest from of display of power,creativity & glory was through creating our hands,for our hands will evidence the greatness of God,the love of God,the existance of God & the power of God

▪︎ the depths of God are exposed when we start using our hands,they can do great exploits

Looking Alive But Dead Inside

[Scriptures:
Mark 11:12-14
Gal 5:19-24]

▪︎ when God is dealing with people He does not look at the obvious that can be seen outside,He does not look at if we are presentable,He does not look at our appearance but He looks at the inside,He searches the heart & He looks to see if we have the fruits of His spirit

▪︎ the tree in the scripture above looked very presentable,it looked like it was obvious that it had fruits,that it had figs, but when Jesus got there He found none & cursed the tree

▪︎ today some of us as christians we look very godly from the outside,we look very blessed,we look like we are filled with the things of God but if Jesus visits us He will find none of the fruits of the Holy Spirit in us that are in galatians 5 ie love,joy,kindness,self-control etc

▪︎ we need to move from looking like we are full of God & actually be filled with God,from christians who seem to be filled with the fruits of the Holy Spirit to being actually filled with the fruits

▪︎ if we are christians who only rely on being prayed for from 1 january to 31 december every year with no time to stand on our own in prayer then we are dead christians,we need to grow,we need to start bearing fruits & grow a prayerful life in us

▪︎ when the devil looks at us He sees God so He fights us like He is fighting God,we must not play around with our christianity,we are at war with an enermy who means serious business

▪︎ we have christians who now have 10 years coming to church but still coming late,we have 10year christians who still need follow up inorder to not miss church services & programs,we have 10year christians who can still not lead intercession, we have 10year old christians who still want to be persuaded to fill certain gaps in the church,DEAD christians,we must come alive & start bearing fruits & be profitably in the kingdom of God

How To Receive Your Miracle

▪︎ firstly, we must know that as christians for us to have anything that we want everything that needs to be done was already done,if we want to be healed we must know that Jesus already received stripes so that we can be healed,if we want to be rich we must know that Jesus already became poor so that we can be rich,everything that we need today a provision was already made long back,the devil must never deceive us that it is complicated for our requests to God to be granted

▪︎ there is no prayer that can make God to do anything because God Has already done it for us,the provision for anything that we can ever need was already made,all the impossibilites have already been made possible,all the doors have already been unlocked,the word of God goes on to say God already knows what we want before we even pray meaning whatever we may want to pray for it is already available for us in the spirit because He knows

1. We must believe in God

▪︎ believing in God means maintaining believing in Him even when we are in problems because some of us start doubting God when we get into problems & we start doubting His existence,that is very wrong,God who created the heavens & the earth,who designed all the wonders of the world & created men from dust can not seize to exist just because we are going through some small problems,He is much bigger than our situations therefore we should stand firm believing in Him through anything

▪︎ believing in God means maintaining our believing in Him even when we are at quarter to shame i.e. a point whereby it seems like our faith is just about to fail us & leave us in shame

2. We must have belief

▪︎ Jesus said to Martha if you believe you will see it,that is a principle of the kingdom,for us to see it we must believe it
