▪︎ there is noone who is said to be in action when yet they are folding their hands,we are Agape In Action interms of our OPN or building as a district, therefore we should always be making movements & never find time to be idle

▪︎ action can be positive action which is in building & making progress,but it can also be negative action which actually destroys or hinders progress,so there are people who act to build & there are people who act to destroy ,we should always be the first kind of people

▪︎ fighting our fellow brethren who are building & discouraging others is action but negative action,it is action amiss

▪︎ no builder will ever build without a plan,as Agape District we should not be just moving & working towards building without envisioning what we want to achieve,we must see where we want to go & work towards it,our plan or vision should be what drives our determination & keeps it alive

▪︎ even if there is a vision,a plan, skills & hardwork available if we build without love & oneness we will not achieve anything,that is why we are Agape In Action,but not ending there,we proceed to Building "Together" With "Love"

▪︎ for those in the kingdom of God, God will never give us something to benefit oneself but He gives to every person each one a different package so that we can all come together & benefit the kingdom at large whilst also benefitting from one another,it is not possible to be given a gift in singing so that we can sing only to ourselves,it is imposible to be given a gift in preaching so that we can only preach to our children,everything is for the bigger picture,the kingdom of God,God is too big to give us something so special yet so limited

Sharpening The Axe: When Spirituality Meets The Skill

Eccl 10:10]

▪︎ the above topic means growing spiritually whilst also developing our God given skills so that we can serve both God and people with greater excellence

▪︎ when we focus on the spiritual aspect of our lives & neglect skill we see the great problem we have in the church whereby we have powerful people who speak in heavy tongues yet very poor

▪︎ God never intented for us even right from the original plan of creation to be poor but He wanted us to have dominion,power & to be fruitful

▪︎ God never created us to depend on getting support from other people but to have dominion,to have the power to create anything,meaning having christians struggling is an abnormality

▪︎ if we are christians today & it is possible that when we die there is nothing for people to fight over or to get as an inheritance,then we are living in error & we need to start fixing it right away

▪︎ we were created to be stewards of God's creation i.e all resources,all creation,& our lives should reflect this otherwise we are living in error

▪︎ God desires us to live balanced lives,spiritually fit & financially strong

▪︎ the marketplace is not waiting for people who are prayerful but people who are skilful,we pray before we enter it & then when we do we use our skills to dominate

▪︎ we must go to the mountains & pray on sunday,speaking in tongues but on monday we must come down & take over the marketplace with our skill set

Self-development: Becoming fit for God's assignment

▪︎ self-development is an intentional process to become wiser, stronger, more desciplined, more skilled and more responsible

▪︎ usually people confuse self-development with advancing in learning but self-development has nothing to do with education,it is just a process of growth

▪︎ it has to do with becoming a better version of ourselves so that we can become more useful before God

▪︎ the advantage when we take this intentional process is that it helps us in the kingdom of God,in church & even in our personal lives like at work or in our families,we become more useful & everyone around us will want to involve us

▪︎ with how rapid the kingdom of God is growing & how F.I.G is growing we can not afford to remain the same,more pastors are needed,administrators,Masters of ceremony,ministers etc,& all these responsibilities go to those who have the capacity,the more we are developing ourselvss the more we are building capacity & the more we are making ourselves kingdom useful

▪︎ we can be known by many people,we might be well respected & loved by everyone yet always get left out in many things where someone is needed because opportunities & tasks do not seek favourite people or popularity,but they seek people with skill,& skills are realised & polished through self-development

▪︎ we can only go as far as the number of our leaders as a church

3. Spiritual renewal
▪︎ if we are led by people who are tired we will not make it,but people who are vibrant & full of the spirit will carry the work of God foward

4. Impact through gifts & talents
▪︎ we are taking every opportunity to make sure our gifts are known out there & impacting communities & the nations,no gifts are remaining idle or hidden

▪︎ as a region when any one of us is given a title in the church we must perform

▪︎ whatever title we carry we must do all we can to find out what is expected of us & do it to our best

OUR MOTTO: Commited To God,Loyal To FIG Vision,We Are Unstoppable

▪︎ we are committed to God first before anything else,everything we do is out of our commitment to Him

▪︎ we are loyal to the vision,we are not manufacturing anything new for the church but we are following instructions aligning with the vision that is already there

▪︎ we are going to stop at nothing in serving God & fulfilling His will & purpose

▪︎ fallow ground is a ground that has hardened,become unproductive,unfruitful & not cultivatable but as a region we are breaking such grounds

▪︎ there are territories that have giants,that have never been touched & those are what we are going after this year in this season,& we believe that God is going to give us victory

▪︎ in this year we are not going to be afraid of grounds,of entering new territories

▪︎ in this year we are taking every opportunity that comes nomatter how big

▪︎ the statement is part of our motto,"Bring them In,Train them & Release them."

▪︎ it is the cutting edge of FIG

▪︎ under "Bring then in" we will be snatching people from the world & bringing them into the kingdom of God

▪︎ we have many people out there who have not heard about Jesus,we must make it a goal for us all as FIG assemblies & members to win souls

▪︎ all assemblies must make sure we are always sending people to Goshen Bible School to acquire knowledge & we must groom them to be ready for planting & even pastoring churches so that the efforts of Goshen Bible School can not go to waste

▪︎ every FIG assembly must have family fellowships,they strengthen the church & helps it to grow

▪︎ the normal standard for a church assembly is 30 people,if an assembly has less than 30 people then it is a satelite not an assembly

▪︎ a family fellowship should have atleast 10 people

▪︎ a district must have atleast 2 assemblies (ie a minimum of 60 people)
NB not 2 satelites

▪︎ a province must have atleast 2 districts (ie a minimum of 120 people)

▪︎ a Region must have at least 2 provinces (ie a minimum of 240 people)

▪︎ for all of us pastors,DPs,Overseers struggling to grow our churches,districts,provinces & regions,we must not suffer in silence or mediocrity but we should call for help from the international office & we will be assisted with the various departmnets that we have as a church that focus on evangelism & soul winning,they will help in growing our numbers

▪︎ every assembly should have evangelism budgets & members of the church should be trained to support those budgets,evangelism should not be done just anyhow as if it is something not important

▪︎ business people in assemblies we must support the work of God & we must always know that as we support our businesses will be sustained by God

PRAYER

▪︎ whenever we are called to prayer we must know that prayer does not benefit anyone else but it benefits us,so even in this month of prayer it is us who are going to get transformed,we must take the theme seriously & make sure we too get in the gear of prayer

▪︎ it is us who can be hated by neighbours or by relatives so much that they can want to bewitch us or destroy us,so living in prayer will not protect anyone else but us,it can shield us from unforseen battles

▪︎ some of us we are coming from families in which the level of success that we have reached has never been reached before even if it might not be much,we have broken barriers & surpassed limitations that have dominated for generations & generations,our children have gotten married,have graduated & are doing better than anyone ever expected & all these can raise wars even from the closest people to us,sometimes closest relatives & if we take prayer life as a joke or something not important we will be in serious trouble with the devil

▪︎ when we are living a life of prayer we live a life of confidence,we stop fearing relatives because of witchcraft suspicions,but we love & embrace everyone even those condemned or feared by everyone else

▪︎ when we are prayerful we do not live in bo***ge of fear,there are some people today who do not spend their hard earned money because they are afraid of getting bewitched & we have some of us who will hide anything & everything that we may ever buy or achieve from everyone because we are afraid of getting bewitched,but when we are prayerful we know the power of God that we serve & we understand that He is bigger than everyone & anything else against us

Leveraging Technology: Fliers

▪︎ to leverage is to use what we already have to get better results

▪︎ we will be using our connections, platforms, skills, techniques etc to achieve desired goals

▪︎ leveraging technology for the kingdom of God is using technology for the benefit of the kingdom

▪︎ just like more strength is required when using a blunt axe, when we do not leverage technology we use more strength,more work & even more time & probably achieve less for the kingdom

▪︎ as christians today we have phones,we can use them to watch jokes,to watch others posting their content or we can use them to put our God given gifts on the map & to spread the word of God

▪︎ fliers are not just simple things,they are there to inform us of certain opportunities that we would have never found out about if there were no fliers,so if a flier about a business seminar at Celebration Church circulates it simply means an apportunity for us to mix with business people from Celebration Centre who we would never just meet randomly has arised,so we need to take every flier as a very special seasonal opportunity

▪︎ when we see fliers as FIG we must have a culture of attending those events & we must remove the mentality of thinking that when we attend we are supporting the organisers,these events are not for the organisers but they will benefit us,if they are about spiritual growth it is us who will grow,if they are about businesses it is our businesses that will grow

▪︎ when we see fliers from other assemblies in FIG & from other churches that are associated with FIG,we really must attend,this will help our assemblies & church to grow,they will help us as individuals & they will create for us new connections,opportunities & even ideas

▪︎ as leaders when we attend functions from other assemblies or churches it also opens our minds & we can improve our own church

MISSIONS

▪︎ missionary work is not easy work,it is only fun when the missionaries are still in planes flying in the sky as we look at their pictures but as soon as they land & are faced with the great work to be done on the ground it will be a different story filled with restlessness,challenges & hardwork

▪︎ the servants of God moving to all continents & all corners of the world are giving the gospel of God to the people for free & strengthening the work,but they are not traveling by planes & busses for free,they are not eating for free & they are not getting free accomodation,every step of their journeys require money for everything to go well which they do not have but us as the church have to support them financially

▪︎ as FIG right now we are at the peak of spreading the gospel to the world,at the moment we have servants of God settling in Mozambique,we have servants of God focusing on Uganda & we have work that has just started in India,all such great work needs collective effort of each & everyone of us as Faith In God Ministries International inorder for it to be a success that it is why today Sunday 24.05.26 we were all required as the children of FIG to pay $1 per person including our children which will be channelled towards missionary work & that is why we have tools like SWMO whereby every month all offerings collected in one of our sunday services will go out to support missionary work

▪︎ the missionaries who go to other nations to preach the gospel will be having noone who they can turn to in times of challenges in the foreign lands as they will be starting a new work & hitting new ground,therefore when we send them off well equipped & well resourced we make the work to be much easier for them

Strengthening the work/ Pressing on towards the goal

▪︎ to press on means to continue pushing despite the resistance

▪︎ pressing on is spoke of when there is an option to either continue pushing or to quit

▪︎ to press on means to persuade

▪︎ a goal is a set target, they are those things we say to ourselves by such a time i must have achieved so & so

▪︎ Paul & company used to go & strengthen the gospel they had already preached to people before who had become christians because there were other preachers who were also moving around with an opposing gospel,Paul would preach that to get served people had to accept Jesus into their lives & hearts as their personal Saviour & that was enough, yet other preachers would come preaching that it was not enough to do that & that more needed to be done making the process of salvation seem complicated,& by Paul strengthening the work people were strengthened & the church grew in numbers

▪︎ in the same manner today we need strengthening of the true gospel in us that was preached to us & made us come into the kingdom for we have met friends,family & association that always try to dilute the gospel & disturb the progress that we have made in Christ,& as christians we also need to be constantly on the move strengthening the true gospel of the kingdom out there

▪︎ Paul whilst in prison wrote gospels that were full of positivity & joy,he wrote that we should always be happy & rejoice nomatter the situation yet he himself was behind bars & was writing to people who were free & living well,he kept pressing on in the area of his calling,he kept pressing on in his kingdom assignment,in the same manner nomatter what we may go through in life,nomatter how difficult the situations we may face we must continue pressing on & doing what God needs us to do & what pleases Him
