23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.
24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
25 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.
26 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
27 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place.
28 Ascribe to the LORD, all you families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.
29 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.
30 Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.
31 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!”

Psalms 121:1-8

Luke 19 [MSG]
45-46 Going into the Temple he began to throw out everyone who had set up shop, selling everything and anything. He said, “It’s written in Scripture,

My house is a house of prayer;
You have turned it into a religious bazaar.”

47-48 From then on he taught each day in the Temple. The high priests, religion scholars, and the leaders of the people were trying their best to find a way to get rid of him. But with the people hanging on every word he spoke, they couldn’t come up with anything.

Matthew 7:24-25
[24]“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
[25]and the rain descended, the
floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

It is wisdom to open our ears to the Word of God and make it our standard of living. When we do this we are then safe from the storms of life, they will not shake us, they will not move us, we remain still in Him. Our names are not bloted from the book. Let's choose to be wise it's profitable to us!.

He lifts a standard against our enemies
He calms our storms
He fights for us
He delivers us
He makes a way for us
He makes all things beautiful
His name is Wonderful, counsellor, Prince of peace, everlasting Father. Let's stand firm in Him. Hallelujah

[58]Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

The Bible is saying here hama dzinodikanwa mirai nesimba murege kuzunungutswa , nemanwe mashoko hupenyu uhu hune zvinopedza simba, mune zvinozunungutsa but we are tipped to be steadfast in the Lord. Whatever we face, let us stand firm.

Infact parikubuda zvinhu 4 zvatirikukurudzirwa kuita no matter what:

1. Kumira takasimba
2. Kusazunungutswa
3. To continue working for the Lord
4. To expect a reward.

Let due diligence be our portion

Isaiah 40:30-31
[30]Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
[31]But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

We expect the young and the youth to be zealous and energetic but v30 says they will grow weary, they will faint and they will utterly fall. Kana vechidiki voneta, vopera simba, vakuru vagara simba rakashota naturally because of age hatichataura.

Zviripo zvinonetesa vadikani, zviripo zvinopedza simba, zviripo zvinozungunutsa, zviripo zvinotapudza kutenda but kana tikabvuma kupera simba what's next? food for thought!.

V31 inoti vanomirira Jehova, vachapuhwa simba idzva.

Shoko rati vanomirira Jehova,

*Trust in the Lord* Psalm 31
1. IN YOU, O Lord, do I put my trust and seek refuge; let me never be put to shame or [have my hope in You] disappointed; deliver me in Your righteousness!

The Lord God always watches over those who have their trust in Him, oh yes He does answer when they call and they will never be put to shame. If you really put your trust in God and never doubt His word He will see to it that you are never put to shame. The Lord will deliver you in His righteousness. It's best you seek help and refuge from God. Hebrews 13, 5-6 reads...Let your conduct be without covetousness;and be content with such things as you have: for He has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Yes put your trust in the Lord God and leave a worry free life. If God is on your side who can be against you. As for God, His way is perfect: the word of the LORD is proven: He is a shield to all those that trust in Him. Psalm 18:30.
