THIRD SORROW: THE LOSS OF THE CHILD JESUS IN THE TEMPLE

In this sorrow, Mary experienced a special kind of pain in that she had no idea where Jesus was, or more importantly why He had left her.

In such moments in our lives we need to seek Jesus as Mary did here, and not withdraw from Him by resentfully indulging in despair, drugs as examples. Mary teaches us that when we lose God, we must not wait for him to come back. We must go out in search of Him.
