Prayer Poem - Our Church Leader
Greetings to everyone here, our leaders, our parents, our brothers and sisters. My name is Aisha. I would like to recite my poem titled "Our Church Leader"
Oh gracious God above.
We come to you with hearts of love.
We thank you for our dear church leader Madzibaba Tyrage.
Our kind prophet Chief Chigadzira.
Continue to bless him with holy strength, to deliver us from evil.
The wisdom to lead and show people true works of God.
The holy spirit to keep us from harm, and lead us in your holy light.
Chigadzira is not just a name.
He was named by people,
due to his talent of sort things out.
He is a man of great works
People from different parts of the country know and talk about him.
The deaf, the blind, the psychotic and the paralytic,
all come to him for spiritual deliverance.
For he is truly God sent.
A true commander, who frees out people from evil spiritual bondages.
Those with marriage problems,
Those unable to conceive, and
Those with no means of living,
He is their true saviour
A refuge to all those who weep.
We love our leader.
He encourages us to go to school.
For us to have a better tomorrow.
He is a strong critic of early child marriages .
Oh Lord, our hearts are full of praise,
For the leader you sent us,
Despite of trials, struggles and pain,
His love for us remains endless.
We pray for blessings in his life.
So that he continues to do the wonderful works of God.
