WHY IS GOD QUITE ?

| Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God —-Philippians 4:6 |

God often waits for us to invite Him into the matters of our lives before He step in .
He is willing and able, but He responds to faith that calls upon Him.

The story of Blind Bartimaeus reminds us of this truth (Mark 10:46–52).
Though surrounded by the crowd, he cried out to Jesus, and when he did, his life changed.

As we journey into 2026, I encourage you to involve God through prayer in every area of your life - your family, your calling, your work, and your future.

When God is involved, even the impossible is made possible. What seems impossible to us is possible with Him. He act when we pray!

DAILY BREAD 📖

| Prov.6.9 But you, lazybones, how long will you sleep? When will you wake up? I want you to learn this lesson: 10 A little extra sleep, a little more slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest. 11 and poverty will pounce on you like a bandit; scarcity will attack you like an armed robber. (NLT) |

Work hard or die poor . Lazy hands can never produce big results. The fulfilment of your vision or dream requires you to work harder and harder. Success is not wished for; it comes as a result of work. Just as no one cannot climb a ladder with their hands in their pockets, no one can rise to success without putting their hands to work. Laziness has never produced any successful person.

Do not ask God for things you should work for. He gave you hands to work and a mind to think . Be diligent , work ! Praying without working will result is frustration . If you don't put your hands to work poverty will be your life companion .

I charge you by the Spirit of the living God: commit yourself to work hard until your vision and dream come to pass. May the Lord give you grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

19/11/25

| Luke 23:33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. |

Do not make the mistake of treating people the same way they treat you. Godliness is allowing good to come out of you even when bad is done to you. Jesus, while on the cross, prayed for the very people who were accusing and persecuting Him. He demonstrated what He had taught earlier:

Matthew 5:44
“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”

It is not foolishness to forgive—it is godly. In doing so, you fulfill the will of God for your life. Unforgiveness contaminates your spirit. Unforgiveness hinders your walk with God.

They did all kinds of hurtful things to you. They said all sorts of things about you. You showed them love, yet they betrayed you. But today, the Word of God is charging you to forgive and let it go. Sometimes forgiveness is tough, but remember that it does far more good for you than for the other person.

Forgive, so that your prayers may not be hindered.
(Mark 11:24–26)

Receive the grace to forgive, in Jesus' name . Amen .

DAILY BREAD 📖

Mark.11.24 Listen to me! You can pray for anything, and if you believe, you will have it. 25 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. " (NLT)

Mark.11.26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. (KJV)

Those who struggle to forgive others also struggle to receive from God. God uses your measure of forgiving others to determine how He forgives you. Not forgiving others harms your relationship with God. Forgiveness heals the forgiver more than the forgiven. When you don't forgive, you hinder your prayers. Unforgiveness does not stop you from praying, but it stops you from receiving answers.

Would you want God not to answer your prayers because there is someone you refuse to forgive? Certainly not. The next time you stand before God, make sure you have forgiven those who have wronged you in any way so that your prayers will not be hindered. Receive grace to forgive, in Jesus' name. Amen.

DAILY BREAD 📖

|. Ps.40.1 I waited and waited and waited for GOD. At last he looked; finally he listened. Ps.40.2 He lifted me out of the ditch, pulled me from deep mud. He stood me up on a solid rock to make sure I wouldn't slip. (MSB) |

Praying and waiting go hand in hand. Do not pray for something you cannot wait for. God rewards those who *pray and wait.* Not everyone who prays can wait! After praying, you need grace to wait for the answer to your prayer.

I decree and declare that you shall wait until you receive answers to your prayers, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
