1st Avenue Church of Christ-Gwanda A Church's health is measured by its sending capacity, not its seating capacity. We are a church of Christ in the most biblical way possible.

Being Christians individually, together, we are a church. We are baptized believers, raised to walk in “newness of life” (Romans 6:3-4) through faith in God’s work of salvation through Christ (Colossians 2:12). We are not perfect but rather forgiven (Romans 3:23-24; I John 1:8-9). We are a diverse group of Christians of varying ages and from different backgrounds, income levels, and education.

Today, we joyfully welcome our newly baptized sisters into the family of Christ 1st Avenue Church of Christ-Gwanda

"There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." — Luke 15:10

Heaven is rejoicing, and so are we! Please keep our dear sisters in your prayers as they begin this new journey of faith in Christ. May they continue to grow in His grace, love, and truth.

Reminder: Do Not Abandon the Assembly

Hebrews 10:24–25 (NKJV)

"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

Beloved, never neglect the assembly of the saints. Every gathering is an opportunity to worship God, grow in His Word, encourage one another, and strengthen our faith. Your presence can be a blessing and an encouragement to others. Let us remain faithful in assembling together, stirring one another to love and good works as we eagerly await the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
