But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
The Protective Power of Discernment
Spiritual discernment protects us from deception. Sin is always dressed up to look tempting and appealing; if we think what looks good and feels right must be OK, then we’re in danger of being misled by the enemy. When Satan tempts us, he never mentions consequences or negative impact.Spiritual discernment is our God-given capacity to judge what’s right and wrong. It protects us from the suffering that accompanies disobedience. Ignoring an agitation in our spirit—which I call “spiritual static”—is a step onto sin’s pathway. When looking for a radio station, we want clear reception. The same is true in our lives. We need a clear connection to the Holy Spirit to have peace and assurance that we’re doing the right thing and aligned with God’s will.Sometimes an opportunity appears harmless or, more likely, very appealing. But if the Holy Spirit within us sends a signal not to pursue it, then we dare not—for some reason, God doesn’t want us in that situation. And though we can speculate, we may never know what danger we avoided by being obedient.Sin doesn’t initially appear as the ugly, deceitful disobedience it is. Instead, it comes wrapped in a pretty package, one hard to resist. God’s children can see past the glitter and false beauty if they choose to look. This spiritual wisdom comes only from a clean heart and discerning spirit. An astute believer is one who makes prayer, repentance, and biblical training a regular part of his or her routine.

“Who am I, Lord God . . . that you have brought me this far?” —1 Chronicles 17:16
When my husband was 18 years old, he started a car-cleaning business. He rented a garage, hired helpers, and created advertising brochures. The business prospered. His intention was to sell it and use the proceeds to pay for college, so he was thrilled when a buyer expressed interest. After some negotiations, it seemed that the transaction would happen. But at the last minute, the deal collapsed. It wouldn’t be until several months later that his plan to sell the business would succeed.
It’s normal to be disappointed when God’s timing and design for our lives do not match our expectations. When David wanted to build the Lord’s temple, he had the right motives, the leadership ability, and the resources. Yet God said he could not undertake the project because he had killed too many people in battle (1 Chron. 22:8).
David could have shaken his fist at the sky in anger. He could have pouted or plowed ahead with his own plans. But he humbly said, “Who am I, Lord God . . . that you have brought me this far?” (17:16). David went on to praise God and affirm his devotion to Him. He valued his relationship with God more than his ambition.
What is more important—achieving our hopes and dreams, or our love for God? —Jennifer Benson Schuldt
Dear heavenly Father, I commit all of my plans to You. Thank You for bringing me this far. You mean more to me than anything in the world.
True satisfaction is found in yielding ourselves to the will of God.

So the men of Kiriath Jearim came and took up the ark of the LORD. They brought it to Abinadab’s house on the hill and consecrated Eleazar his son to guard the ark of the LORD. The ark remained at Kiriath Jearim a long time—twenty years in all. Samuel Subdues the Philistines at Mizpah - Then all the…

Certain thoughts are prayers. There are moments when, whatever be the attitude of the body, the soul is on its knees. -Victor Hugo

Do not be afraid only believe
Mark 5: 22-36

-Imagine what was happening in Jairos spirit when the lady with the issue of blood touched God and God had to wait and took his time attending to the lady. While Jairos thought he was the first to grab Jesus attention but someone comes on and received their breakthrough while he is waiting. And as he waited for Jesus some more bad news came that his little daughter had died. His situation became even worse While Jesus knew he was on his way to his house to heal his little girl.
- It takes patience to receive from God.
-How many times do we find ourselves thinking we have prayed and fasted more than other people but their issues are being solved when ours seem like the end of things (death)
-Jesus lives in eternity and is not moved by time hence we might think that he is delaying or he has forgotten us when he is still on his way to your house but has just met the lady with the issue of blood!
-Believing is not a mental agreement! It's a heart conviction a firm persuasion in my heart that God can do it and nothing is impossible with him!
-Fear is a decision not a reflex action. That's why David says I will fear no evil
Psalms 27:13
-There no matter what the situation is do not be afraid only believe

A note of encouragement
Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:16).
When we are not living a righteous life, satan will often use guilt to trap you in a cycle of not talking to God. Don’t allow him to that. Ask for forgiveness, acknowledge your weakness before the throne of God.
