The Book of Mormon is a sacred record that testifies of Jesus Christ and His love for all people. It contains the writings of ancient prophets who lived on the American continent, recording their faith, struggles, and experiences with God. At its heart is the powerful witness that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, who appeared to His people after His resurrection, bringing peace, truth, and hope.

More than a book, it is a guide for daily living—teaching principles of faith, repentance, charity, and obedience. Its words invite all who read it to come closer to God, find answers in times of need, and feel His presence more fully in their lives. Through sincere study and prayer, the Book of Mormon becomes a personal source of strength, direction, and spiritual light.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced adjustments to the Sunday class meeting schedule.

“We are confident that members will be blessed by these changes,” the First Presidency wrote in a letter released Monday, March 30, 2026.

For the first time since the 2019 adjustment to a two-hour block, Sundays will look different. Now, instead of alternating classes on Sundays, members will meet for all their meetings during the second hour.

The new schedule will take effect the first week of September.
