According to scripture - specifically John 21:15-17, Jesus explicitly stated that a pastor proves his/her love for Him [Jesus Christ] by feeding His sheep. Therefore as a believer, it is crucial to discerningly choose to sit under a man /woman of God who consistently provides high-quality, sound biblical teaching rather than superficial messages.

A healthy Spiritual balanced diet requires a shepherd who is dedicated to prayer, diligent study [2 Timothy 2:15], and teaching the unaltered truth of scripture.

WOMEN AND THE CALLING OF GOD.

Is it a sin in the eyes of the Almighty God for women to preach and teach in the church? Is it a sin in the eyes of the Almighty God for women to occupy the office of an Apostle, Pastor, Evangelist or a Bishop?

Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, carried Jesus for 9 months in her womb. She breastfed Him, nurtured Him, and raised Him until He grew into a man. Mary was the first person to tell others about Jesus even before He was born, Luke 1:46-55. She was also in the upper room with the disciples when the Holy Spirit came, Acts 1:14.

My question to church leaders and the whole world is: How can we say that a woman who was so close to Jesus cannot share her testimony and experience of Him on the Pulpit?
Women were also the first witnesses of the resurrection, Mathew 28:1,10.
Jesus Himself first appeared to Mary Magdalene, and she became the first preacher of the resurrection.

Why then do some churches not allow women to preach and teach the Word of God? Is it because of culture, tradition or scripture?
Most churches that restrict women base it on Apostle Paul's scriptures, 1 Timothy 2: 11-12 and 1 Corinthians 14:34-35.
Is this not twisting of scriptures?
