FROM THE PASTOR'S DESK 🖊

13 February 2026

Greetings bandla lika Khrestu. Welcome to this devotion on Fridays. This week our president granted amnesty to a wide range of prisoners. Included were all women prisoners and for those who were serving life sentences and had done 20 years they will be free!!. There is NOTHING these prisoners did to be free. It was all clemency from the president.

In the same way we were all PRISONERS of darkness and SIN!!!. The blood of JESUS gave us freedom!!! (Romans 6 v 18) We have done nothing to deserve that, it's totally free, a gift.

On being interviewed the prisoners vowed to turn over a new leaf 🍃 and forsake the life of crime. That remains to be seen.BUT we also having been forgiven!!! and redeemed!!! are to live a new life as God's children. We should not return to our former lives. (2 Corinthians 5 v 17) This is possible because God is with us.

May we live our lives as FREEMEN !! ( 1 Peter 2 v 16-18) reflecting the love of God to all we come across.

Prayer:
Holy Father thank you for the new lease of life you have given us. Help us to live new lives in your presence. You make it possible by the blood of your SON. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray.
