AMR Jubilee Platinum Celebrations – 70 Years of Humble Service ✨
This year marks a truly special milestone for our Congregation as we celebrate 70 years of humble service to the Church.
Our journey began at Regina Mundi, the very place where it all started. It is therefore most fitting that we return there to give
glory to God for this remarkable milestone.
Recently, the Steering Team, together with AMR leadership, gathered at Regina Mundi to plan a memorable Jubilee celebration. We were warmly welcomed by the Priest-in-Charge of Regina Mundi Fr John and his assistant, Fr Musawenkosi, for which we are deeply grateful.
As we look forward to the Jubilee celebrations scheduled for the weekend of 5–6 June, Regina Mundi holds profound significance for us. It is the place where our founder, Bishop Adolf Schmitt, breathed his last after being gunned down while on a mission to evangelise.
What seemed at the time like the end of our Congregation
became instead the beginning of a living legacy. Though our founder was taken from us, his vision, his wishes, and his spirit live on in the lives and mission of his daughters.
Today, we stand strong because of the foundations laid 70 years ago foundations built on faith, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment.
Countless lives have been touched along this journey, and for this, we give thanks to God.
We therefore invite everyone to join us in this joyful celebration as we honour our founder and pioneer Sisters, celebrate our present mission, and look forward with hope and faith to the future.
✨ Stay tuned for more details, and let us make this Jubilee a truly unforgettable celebration. ✨
