MUTUMBA CORPS YOUTH WEEK LAUNCH

Mutumba Corps officially opened Youth Week today with a powerful launch service led by Captain T.A. Marufu.

Running under the theme: “For such a time as this I will…”, Captain Marufu drew lessons from Esther – the woman who became Queen, a breakthrough for her family and a light to her nation. Though she did not know she would save a nation in a foreign land, God positioned her for a purpose.

He explained the 4 objectives for Youth Week: Fellowship, Service, Worship, and Education. As youth, we are placed where we are for a purpose. Like Esther, we must rise with faith and courage, identify opportunities, and be responsible at home and in the community through simple acts of service. God does not place people without reason. He uses those who are willing.

As youth, coming out of this week we will be empowered to stand with confidence, knowing God’s plan for our lives.
