The Bishop has encouraged the Sunday scholars and everyone around with a text word from
Luke 11:1 ‘Lord, teach us to pray.

He emphasized that the disciples were inspired by seeing Jesus pray. Instead of asking Jesus to teach them how to perform miracles or gain authority, they asked Him to teach them how to pray.
In the same way, we must develop a genuine desire to learn, practice and live a life of prayer.
The Bishop reminded the congregation that prayer should not only be our response when we face problems, but should become a daily lifestyle through which we continually seek God's guidance, wisdom and direction.
District Rector Chinjongo Edwin and Assistant District Rector Kanjele Obby, were called to serve.
724 souls attended this divine Service.

*UPDATE ON THE SUNDAY SCHOLARS CAMP – MAVILI*

Dear Parents, Guardians, and the Church Family,
After bravely braving the heavy rains during the night, I wish to confirm that all our Sunday Scholars are safe, well, and in high spirits.
In an effort to safeguard the safety and well-being of God’s children at the camp, our District Rector, Stephen Phulu, has announced that all the Sunday Scholars will relocate to Chavuma Day Secondary School this afternoon.
The remaining camp activities will continue from the new venue, where the children will be able to showcase their talents, participate in the scheduled programmes, and continue enjoying this important spiritual and educational gathering.
This decision has been made as a precautionary measure in response to the unpredictable weather patterns, with the safety of our children remaining our highest priority.
Dear Parents, please do not be afraid. Your children are safe and under the care and supervision of the church leadership and camp organisers. Let us remain calm, prayerful, and trusting in God.

God bless our children, our parents, and all those caring for the Sunday Scholars.

LET US SUPPORT OUR CHILDREN.

LET US BUILD THE HOUSE OF GOD

In the midst of a very busy week, as our youths have been attending their camp and our Sunday Scholars are gathering in Chavuma, the work of God continues to move on.
The sisters have embarked on a special fundraising mission aimed at raising funds to support the construction and improvement of selected congregations in each Rector District.
The Sisters Fellowship is currently travelling by water transport from Zambezi, heading east of Zambezi towards Chitokoloki East in Mpidi, where they will carry out their fundraising activities.
As part of their programme, the sisters will hold their spiritual meeting this Friday, followed by the fundraising activities on Saturday. They are expected to return home after the Sunday service.
The sisters are demonstrating that when people come together with one heart and a common purpose, great things can be achieved for the glory of God.
We extend our appreciation to Sister Mandefu and her entire team for taking the initiative and embarking on such a beautiful and meaningful work.
We therefore appeal to all members, families, friends and well-wishers to support this important initiative. Every contribution, whether big or small, can make a difference in helping us build and strengthen the House of God.

May God bless our Sisters Fellowship for their sacrifice, protect them throughout their journey, and bless the work of their hands. May this initiative inspire all of us to play our part in building the House of God.
