Get the Lies Out !!

You’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Philippians 4:8, MSG

Today's Word: The enemy tries to plant lies in our mind that infect our thinking and become a stronghold that keeps us guilty or from pursuing our dream. “You’re not good enough. You’re not attractive. You’ll never get the promotion. You’ll never get well.” Until we get the infections out, until we delete the lies that we’re dwelling on, they’re going to limit us.

The good news is that you don’t have to spend another minute being infected by wrong thinking. If you start renewing your mind with what God says about you, it will clear up all the infected places, it will heal all the places that are hurting. Instead of dwelling on thoughts of inferiority and being less-then, you have to dwell on, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am a masterpiece.” The infection will go away. Those thoughts bring healing. Whatever is holding you back, you have the prescription. Delete the lies and start taking your medicine. Dwell on what God says about you in His Word. Get healthy in your thinking and become who God made you to be.

Prayer For You Today: “Father, thank You that Your Word instructs me to think on things that are true and right, wholesome, pure, and of good report. Thank You that You tell me who I am and You’ve given me Your promises to meditate upon. I declare that I will be selective in the thoughts I allow in. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Unconditional Trust !!

Today’s Scripture: Daniel 3:18, NIV - "But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."

Today’s Word: This is what three Hebrew teenagers did in the Scripture. They wouldn't bow down to the king of Babylon's golden idol. He was so furious that he was about to have them thrown into a fiery furnace. They said, "King, we're not worried. We know that our God will deliver us. But even if He doesn't, we're still not going to bow down." That's unconditional trust.

You may have a lot coming against you. Perhaps, you feel as though you're about to be thrown into a fire. This is the key: stay in faith, believe in your dreams, believe the situation will turn around, and then declare, "Even if it doesn't happen my way, I'm still going to be happy. God, if You turn it around, or if You don't turn it around, I'm still going to give You praise." You live like that and all the forces of darkness cannot keep you from your destiny.

Prayer for You Today: "Father, thank You that You are worthy of my unconditional trust. There are things in my life that I don't understand, situations I want to see changed, but even if they never happen, I'm still going to trust You. I gladly leave these matters in Your hands. In Jesus' Name, Amen."

Break Out of the Mold !!

Today’s Scripture: 2 Kings 18:5–7, NIV - Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him. He held fast to the LORD and did not stop following him...And the LORD was with him; he was successful in whatever he undertook.

Today’s Word: Hezekiah's father was King Ahaz of Judah, who set up idols for the people to worship and closed the doors of the temple. He didn't honor God, and the nation went downhill and became very poor. Hezekiah was raised in an environment of compromise, defeat, and mediocrity. He could have turned out like his dad and adapted to that environment, but when he became king, the first thing Hezekiah did was to reopen the temple. He turned the nation back toward God.

You may be in some kind of limited environment. If Hezekiah were here today, he would tell you, "You can break out of the mold. You can be the difference maker. You can be the one who sets your family on a course to honoring God, a course of blessing, favor, and victory." Recondition your mind, start thinking better, believing that you're a can-do person, knowing that you have seeds of greatness, and you too will break barriers that you thought were impossible.

Prayer for You Today: “Father, thank You that I can break out of the mold and be a difference maker. Thank You that I can live a life that honors You and is a blessing to my family. I declare that I will not live a life of compromise, but rather one of favor and victory. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Set a New Standard !!

Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Romans 12:2, MSG

Today's Word: So often we let our environment, how we were raised, and other people’s expectations of us set the limits for our life. We adapt to what’s around us. If you take an oak tree seed and plant it in a two-foot pot, that oak tree will never become what it was created to be if you leave it in the pot—not because there’s something wrong with the seed, but because of the environment that it’s in. It’s so easy to just fit in and be like everyone else. But God didn’t create you to be average. He created you to stand out, to go beyond the norm, to leave your mark on this generation. You have seeds of greatness inside. You’re supposed to go further than the people who raised you and set a new standard. You may be in an environment where people have addictions, low self-esteem, depression, and poverty. You can’t stop that. But here’s the key: Don’t let that become the norm in your thinking. If you accept that as who you are, it will keep you from your destiny.

Prayer For You Today: “Father, thank You that I don’t have to let society squeeze me into its mold. Thank You that my life can stand out as uncommon for You. I’m not going to be pressured into compromising, and I’m not going to live like everyone else. I’m going to live by a higher standard. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Be Free to Forgive!!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: ...The Lord will judge and determine and solve and settle the cause and the cases of His people. Hebrews 10:30, AMPC

TODAY'S WORD: Are you dealing with an "unsolved case" from your past that needs resolution? You might have been through some bad breaks. People may have said things about you and done things to you that hurt and offended. Are you waiting for your day of justice or repayment? God promises in His Word that He is our vindicator. He is our defender. He will settle your case and repay everything the enemy has stolen.

But in order to allow Christ to settle your debts, you have to release your concerns to Him and forgive those who have wronged you. It’s very freeing to say, “They can’t pay me back. I’m on God’s payroll, and He never misses a payment.” God will settle your cases. You have to allow Jesus to take on the debt they owe you in the same way that He took on your debt for sin. That's true forgiveness—freeing others so that you can be free. As you walk and live in forgiveness, you show that you trust in God to repay you, and He will honor your faith in Him!

PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY: God, I believe in complete restoration in every area of my life! That starts with letting go of the past and forgiving those who have wronged me. I forgive them, Father, and I praise You for taking on my debt. In Jesus' name - Amen.

A-Life-of-Generosity-Rewarded !!
Today’s Scripture: Proverbs 11:24, TLB - It is possible to give away and become richer! It is also possible to hold on too tightly and lose everything.
Today’s Word: Today's Scripture could read like a contradiction, but God's ways are not our ways. Everything in you may say, "If I'm going to fix my finances and overcome my problems, I don't have the money or the time to help anyone else. When I get my problems solved, I'll help others." No, giving your time, energy, and resources to helping others in their time of need is what's going to open the windows of heaven and cause your problems to turn around. You're never going to end up with less.
Here's the beauty: When you help others, what you give is going to come back to you not in the same proportion, but pressed down, shaken together, and running over. It's a seed you're
sowing that's going to keep coming back to you and multiplying. When you live a life of generosity, when you make sacrifices to help other people rise higher, it's not just going to affect you, it's to going to affect your children. It's going to be more than you imagined.
Prayer for you Today: Father, thank You for the promise that it is possible for me to give away my time and resources to those in need and yet prosper. Thank You that as I sow seeds of blessing in others, You will cause it to multiply in coming back to me. I believe that You will open the windows of heaven to me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

It’s Still Stored Up !!

Then the word of the LORD came to him: “This man will not be your heir, but a son who is your own flesh and blood will be your heir.” Genesis 15:4, NIV

Today's Word: When God promised Abraham that he and Sarah would have a son, Sarah was way past the childbearing years. Year after year went by with no baby. They decided to try to help God out. Sarah gave Abraham her maid, Hagar, to sleep with, and they had a son, but he wasn’t the promised child. Then Sarah got mad at Abraham when Hagar despised her. Abraham got frustrated with Sarah. Hagar was treated so badly by Sarah that she fled into the desert. There was all kinds of dysfunction in their home. You would think that God would say, “Abraham, you blew it. You’re too messed up. I’m done with you.” But in spite of all the mistakes, God said, “Abraham, I still have your promise stored up. I still have a baby for you.” Against all odds, when Abraham was one hundred years old, Sarah had a baby boy named Isaac, the promised child.

You may have made mistakes, but that didn’t disqualify you. God still has your dreams, your healing, or your freedom stored up. Just dare to believe.

Prayer For You Today: “Father, thank You that You are the Most High God, and You are not limited by what limits me. Help me to remember that You can do the impossible when I’m tempted to water down Your promises. I believe that You keep my blessings stored up for the right time. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Anointed To Heal (You are Anointed) !!!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:38, NASB

TODAY'S WORD: When Jesus walked the earth, He was on a mission. Not only did He come to die on the cross and save us from our sins, He had a mission to set people free from every kind of brokenness and oppression. He was anointed, or empowered by God, to fulfill His mission. Notice it doesn’t say that He went around doing good and healing some people. No, it says that He went around doing good and healing "all." That was His mission, and He is still fulfilling that mission in the earth today.

The Bible says that you have become an ambassador of Jesus. That means you are His representative. As His representative, you have access to the same power and authority that He has. You are empowered, or anointed, to fulfill His mission in the earth. You are anointed to do good and heal those who are oppressed by the enemy. Is there someone in your life who needs a touch from God today? You are His hands and feet. You are anointed to do good and pray for the sick. As you reach out to others and allow God to use you, you will see His power flow through you, and you will live the life of victory God has in store for you!

PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY: Father, thank You for choosing me. Thank You for doing good in my life and setting me free! Show me how I can be an instrument of Your goodness and healing to those around me today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Avoid The Trap of Fear !!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. Proverbs 29:25, NIV

TODAY'S WORD: Fear is one of the enemy's favorite tools to keep us from moving forward. The moment you make a decision to step out in faith, the enemy will immediately bring fear to stop you. He'll put thoughts in your mind such as, "What if I fail? What will others think? Maybe I don't have what it takes." He'll do his best to use fear to try to convince you to shrink back and just stay right where you are. The Scripture tells us that fear is a spirit. It affects your emotions. But when you choose to put your trust in the Lord, no matter how you are feeling, you are combating fear. Today, don't allow fear to trap you and hold you back. Instead, take a step of faith knowing that God is on your side. He is for you and with you, leading and guiding you in the path of victory all the days of your life.

PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY: "Father, I choose to put my trust in You. I press forward in faith so I can overcome fear. I believe You have my best interest at heart and know that You are leading me in the paths of righteousness all the days of my life in Jesus' name. Amen."

So What?

What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it? Romans 3:3, NASB

Today's Word: One of the biggest battles that we all face is the battle of containment. The enemy can’t do anything about the ground you’ve already gained, but he’ll do everything he can to try to keep you from going forward. His goal is to convince you to settle where you are. He’ll use other people to tell you that you’ll never be successful, that you can’t break an addiction, and they’ll throw water on what you’re passionate about. You have to quit letting people pull you down.

The apostle Paul says, “So what if they don’t believe?” Just because somebody doesn’t believe that you can do what God put in your heart doesn’t change anything. It doesn’t change the faithfulness of God to bring it to pass. Your attitude should be that you don’t need other people to cheer you on and support you. You and God are a majority. If God is for you, who dare be against you? Start encouraging yourself: “I’m strong. I’m talented. I’m well able. I will start living large. I will not be contained.”

Prayer For You Today: “Father, thank You that I can take control of my thought life and stop allowing negative thoughts to enter. Thank You that I can be deaf to the unbelief that comes my way from other people. Help me to get rid of any lies before they infect my thinking and keep me contained. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Be A Bounce-Back Person !!!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold… 1 Peter 1:6-7, NLT

TODAY'S WORD: Life is full of things that try to push us down. We all face disappointments and setbacks. Maybe you got bad news concerning your health, or perhaps a relationship didn't work out. Maybe you lost your job. It was a setback. When we face setbacks, it's easy to get discouraged or lose our enthusiasm. Too often we are tempted to just settle where we are. But if we're going to see God's best, we have to have a bounce-back mentality. That means when you get knocked down, you don't stay down. You get back up again. It means when disappointments come, you shake them off knowing that what the enemy meant for your harm God is going to turn around and use for your good.

This is a new day. Things are changing in your favor. You need to get ready because there’s a bounce-back coming. You’re going to bounce back from sickness, bounce back from depression, bounce back from bad breaks, bounce back from loss. Keep standing, keep believing, and choose to be a bounce-back person because you are coming out better off than you were before! You are rising higher, and you will fulfill the destiny God has in store for you!

PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY: Father in heaven, thank You for Your grace, mercy, and favor. I ask for rain in the time of rain, I ask for increase in Your favor and blessing so I can be a blessing to those around me today and always. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

A Perfect Fit !!!

When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!”…Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.”Luke 5:8, 10.

Today's Word: When the rough fisherman Peter first realized who Jesus was, it exposed his heart as unworthy of Jesus’ presence. But only moments later, Jesus called Peter to become one of His fishers for people. Jesus could have chosen someone more talented, more educated, more refined, and with a religious background. He could have found someone from a more influential family, with a lot fewer weaknesses and less baggage. But on purpose He chose Peter. Although Jesus knew all the mistakes Peter would make, He knew that Peter was a perfect fit to become the apostle who would take the lead in the early church.

Don’t go your whole life thinking you don’t measure up, you don’t perform good enough, you’re not talented enough. You’ve been handpicked by the Creator of the universe. In spite of all the negatives you think about yourself, He calls you a masterpiece, one of a kind, fearfully and wonderfully made. Quit beating yourself up, thinking you don’t qualify. The fact that He chose you means He’s already equipped you, empowered you, and anointed you. Step into your greatness.

Prayer For You Today: “Father, thank You that You see world changers in rugged fishermen like Peter. Thank You that You’re working in my life just as You did in Peter, and You will bring me to completion. I am looking beyond my flaws and failures to see the masterpiece in the making. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
