Today on 7 th June, 2026. The Solemity of Corpus Christ, inFr Christopher Kanja's homily reminded how the Israelities suffered in the wilderness. Now in today's first reading Moses is reminding the Israelities about God's mercy upon them.

Some people tend to forget about what God has done to us through his mercy & grace. When a priest is celebrating the mass and lifts the host so that all the people gathering can see and remember the Grace & Mercy of the Almighty God. Human beings always remember the wrong things other people do to them and forgetting God's love on us.

He further advised the congregants to be remembering what God has done to us more especially for us who receive and eat the body & blood of Jesus Christ. Each one of us should reflect on the wrong things we do so that we can be living a righteous life.

Human beings were created in God's image and we are all therefore required to live in harmony with one another. Jesus sacrificed his life for our sake, we must be thinking deeply about Jesus' love for us. He left the his body and blood so that we can be remembering him forever.
