Called to Stand as Pillars of Faith: Care, Mercy, and Labour🙏✨
What a profound joy it is to witness the spiritual growth of the Catholic Men’s League (CML) across our communities! The recent Commissioning Ceremony serves as a beautiful reminder of what happens when men step forward out of the background to answer God's call, fully prepared to lead, protect, and serve.
Under the spiritual guidance of Fr. Alexander Chanda Chimpusa (Dean/CML Chaplain) of Luanshya Deanary, who celebrated the holy Mass, we witnessed a powerful gathering of devotion. The beautifully aligned voices of the Yangeni Choir from St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Mikomfwa elevated the liturgy, reminding us that we are called to work together in unity to praise the Almighty.
A Message of Strength from Leadership
Reflecting on this milestone, our Archdiocese of Ndola Catholic Men's League Chairman, Brother George Mulenga, reminds us that commissioning is not a final destination—it is a launching pad for active ministry. Brother Mulenga continues to urge all Catholic men to rise to the occasion, saying:
"True leadership is rooted in charity, humility, and presence. As Catholic men, we are called to be the silent pillars of our families and parishes—modeling our lives after our Patron, St. Joseph. Let us not be Christians of convenience, but men of action who actively participate in the evangelization mission of the Church."
Living Our Motto Every Day
As we reflect on the intercessions offered through the patrons of the day—St. Anthony of Padua, St. Charles Boromeo, and St. Monica—let us challenge ourselves to internalize the core pillars of the CML:
❤️ CARE: To safeguard, support, and show genuine concern for the needs of our families and the marginalized.
🕊️ MERCY: To lead our homes and communities with compassion, forgiveness, and steadfast love.
💪 LABOUR: To embrace the true dignity of hard work, offering our time and talents to build the Church and better society.
To all the newly commissioned and existing members across the Archdiocese of Ndola and beyond: May you continue to set the pace with unwavering integrity. Let us step out without hesitation, because when strong men pray, families thrive and the Church grows.
Saint Joseph, Pray for us! 🌟
