Joshua 1:8 (KJV) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

We make excuses not to study the Bible. Time limitations seem to be the number one reason! The Word is a precious gift from God Himself. Absorbing scripture keeps us alert in the truth so aren’t deceived by false prophets. It provides comfort in times of trouble and guidance when we have big decisions to make. Consistently studying God’s work strengthens our faith and our ongoing relationship with the Creator we love and adore. Love always has time.

Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sin against his own body.
Or do you not know your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
For you were bought at a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18… So, we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen.

We all go through certain changes in life that can be discouraging and stressful. It could be dealing with the loss of a job, the death of a loved one, or a state of confusion and frustration about where one's life is heading. The word of God has a profound way of encouraging us to be strong and courageous in the midst of life's circumstances. So, let us encourage ourselves and one another with the word daily...
