GREAT FAITH

Matthew 8:10
When Jesus heard it, He marvelled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

The title of today’s devotion reminds me of an inspiring story in the Bible. It’s the story of the Roman Centurion in the city of Capernaum, who had a servant that was very sick. When he heard that Jesus was in town, he went to meet the Lord, and asked Him to heal his sick servant.

Jesus got up to go with him, but the officer asked the Lord to just speak the word, that his servant would be healed. Jesus was so amazed at the officer’s faith, and commended him for showing a great faith in the power of God’s Word. No wonder, his servant was healed that same hour.

You can grow your faith to be great too. How? By simply spending more time to listen to, meditate on and practice God’s Word. Remember, “…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

PREACH HIS LOVE AND GOODNESS

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance (Romans 2:4).

When we preach the Gospel, what exactly are we preaching? The Gospel is good news—the availability of the righteousness of God. Jesus didn’t come to condemn the world. The Bible says, "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved" (John 3:17). So what did Jesus tell us to do? He said, “Preach the Gospel!”

We’re to tell the world how good, gracious and kind God is; He’s not the God of judgement, but the God of love. So, preach His love. I remember when I used to go for crusades with the movie, titled, “Burning Hell.” It scared people to repentance, but only for a while. The fear didn’t last because it was based on emotion, not true repentance. It’s the goodness of God that leads men to repentance, not the judgement of God.

When people hear about the goodness of God, they’re moved to come out of their darkness. Think about Noah; he preached about the coming judgement for years, but how many people repented and entered the Ark with him? It was only his family. The same happened with Lot. But when the Apostles preached the Gospel, the good news, nations were changed. Hallelujah!

The Gospel is the message of hope, love, life and victory in Christ. Of course, there’s a hell, and not just hell, there’s also the lake of fire where hell itself will be cast into with Satan and all who reject salvation. But blessed be God; no one who believes in Jesus should be afraid of going to hell, because Jesus already went to hell in our behalf. He paid the price, and gave us eternal life so we can live eternally in victory and success. He brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the Gospel—the good news of your righteousness, love and grace. I declare that I am a carrier of this message, spreading the light of your goodness wherever I go. Thank you, Lord, for delivering me from the power of darkness and translating me into the Kingdom of your dear Son. I rejoice in the victory and eternal life you have given me in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

Jesus has defeated the devil. Now, we need to reinforce his defeat by using the armor God has given us. The devil can be defeated with faith in what God says. He is helpless as you take your place as a suited-up soldier of The LORD! Pray with us: “Thank You, Father, for giving me Your armor to use against the devil. I know through Your Holy Spirit and by using Your armor, I can walk in victory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!”

There is still a solution, the bible says He gives power to create wealth! Recieve that power in Jesus Name!
Master Jesus desires that you prosper in all areas of your life. Yes He is concerned about your wealth & worth here on earth.
Be encouraged, be deligent and believe in His finished works absolutely.

KICK POVERTY OUT OF YOUR LIFE

You know how full of love and kindness our Lord Jesus was: though he was so very rich, yet to help you he became so very poor, so that by being poor he could make you rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9 TLB

After you’re born again, poverty becomes completely unacceptable in your life. I know there’re people who believe Christians ought to be poor, but that’s due to their lack of understanding of the Scriptures. Poverty is not the absence of money or other required necessities of life; it’s actually the disabling of a man’s mental prowess. It’s that state where a person’s mind shuts down, and that person believes that he or she can’t do anything to change his state. But that’s not the case with the one who’s born again and lives by the Word; it’s impossible for such a person to walk in penury. The Christian is an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ.

All the wealth in this world belongs to you if you’re born again. Once you accept this truth in your spirit and allow it to dominate your thinking, it’ll give you a new mindset. It’ll be impossible for you to walk in lack. The Bible says Jesus became poor so that we, through His poverty, might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). He took upon Himself, not only the sins of the world but also the effects of sin, one of which is poverty. This is the reason every Christian must reject poverty.

Nevertheless, poverty by choice, or deprivation by persecution is acceptable. A Christian may walk poor and live poor because of ignorance, but he’s not poor, for he actually has an inheritance in Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, “…all things are yours.” Therefore, refuse and reject the down life; don’t live as a victim.

DECLARATION
Dear Father, you’re gracious and kind. I thank you for making me a joint heir with Christ; the world belongs to me. All things are mine, and nothing good is withheld from me. I dwell in the realm of superabundance, where I’m graciously supplied with every good thing. My life is a manifestation of your love and grace; thank you, Lord, in Jesus’ Name. Amen

Awaken to the unlimited possibitities in Christ.

Brothers and Sisters the Word of God is alive and Ever relevant and applicable to US as was then .
Ignorance will turn you into a mule.
