Topic: Preserving your Destiny: Case Study of Joseph Text : Genesis 39
INTRODUCTION
Every person carries a God-given destiny, but destiny must be preserved. Joseph’s life teaches us that having a great dream is not enough; we must protect our character, choices, purity, faith, and relationship with God.

Joseph had a glorious destiny, but before he reached the palace, he passed through temptation, false accusation, and prison. Genesis 39 shows us how he preserved his destiny even in difficult circumstances.

1. Stay conscious of God’s presence ( Genesis 39:2–3 )
2. Guard your character when nobody is watching ( Genesis 39:7–9 )
3. Learn to say NO ( Genesis 39:10 )
Joseph did not entertain the temptation. The Bible says he “hearkened not unto her.”
4. Run from what can destroy your destiny
Genesis 39:11–12
5. Doing the right thing does not mean you will avoid trouble. ( Genesis 39:13–20 )

UNDERSTAND LORD ASSIGNMENT

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.~John 15:16

God desires that we absorb the wisdom of others but also that we never place the perspective of others above His voice and plan. He designed you for a specific purpose, mission, and assignment. Leadership is about understanding how God has uniquely wired you to make His name known. You have been personally and strategically handcrafted by the Most High God to lead others into His presence, possibility, and eternity. There is nothing holy about hiding. You were born to lead, built to move others forward, and chosen to rise up for such a time as this.

Lord, You have been gracious with Your attention and intention for me. Anchor me in the anointing of leadership. Reveal my assignment and equip me to serve passionately and proficiently. Amen
