The true measure of a leader lies not in the number of followers they accrue, but in the number of leaders they cultivate. "You are not a leader until you have produced another leader."

This principle elevates the role from management to legacy-building. A mere manager focuses on current tasks; a true leader focuses on succession and empowerment. Their ultimate success is seeing their mentees surpass them. By intentionally developing skills, transferring wisdom, and providing opportunity, they ensure the organization's strength endures beyond their tenure. This multiplication of leadership is the only evidence that their influence was transformative, not just transactional.
