As we lay our heads to rest tonight, let us remember that our God is both our Comforter and our Provider who watches over us when we cannot watch over ourselves. The night is not a time of fear, but a time of faith, because _“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety”_ *Psalm 4:8*. When we are weary, He invites us, _“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”_ *Matthew 11:28*. And when our minds are troubled, we can trust that _“He grants sleep to those he loves”_ *Psalm 127:2*, and that _“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you”_ *Isaiah 26:3*. So tonight, surrender your worries to Him, thank Him for His provision, and rest knowing that the One who never sleeps is guarding you

Today our youth ministry had an all-day program that began at 07:00 hours. The purpose of the gathering was to revamp and reconnect with young people who have drifted from the youth ministry and from church.

Starting at 09:00 hours, we embarked on a visitation exercise where we went to different homes to meet with youths who have not been attending youth meetings and church services. By God’s grace, we were able to reach them, encourage them, and we are grateful that many of them joined us for today’s youth meeting.

Let us continue to build, grow, and serve together. The Lord is doing something beautiful in this generation.

Life gets heavy. Sometimes we get tired, disappointed, or tempted to go back to where we came from. But God is calling us forward, not backward. Turning back means missing the good thing He’s preparing ahead.

Hebrews reminds us that we’re not people who shrink back. We’re people of faith who press on, because God has not forgotten the work He started in us. When you feel like giving up, remember: the same God who brought you out will carry you through. Stay faithful. Stay close. The best is still ahead

As we begin this new day, let us be reminded of God’s enduring call in Exodus 20:8, _“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.”_ The Sabbath was not given as a burden, but as a gift — a sacred pause to rest in the presence of our Creator, to realign our hearts, and to delight in His goodness. In a world that constantly demands more of us, keeping the Sabbath is an act of faith and trust that God will provide. As Jesus said in Mark 2:27, _“The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.”_ May we honor this fourth commandment not out of routine, but with reverence, setting the day apart for worship, renewal, and gratitude to the Lord who sanctifies us. _“If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath... then you shall take delight in the Lord”_ — Isaiah 58:13-14.
