AT THE BANKS OF THE JORDAN RIVER

"Early in the morning Joshua and all the Israelites set out from Sh*ttim and went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over"(Joshua 3:1).

My dear brethrens:

Today is the last day of the year 2024. What a mighty God we serve! It is a good time of reflection. However, our prayers this time around must be split into two:-
First, we are to give thanks to the Almighty God, who has helped us to make it from January to the last day of December 2024. I know it has not been easy, but God has seen us through. His grace kept us, preserved us, protected us and provided for us. So we are suppose to thank Him.
Second, today all over the world, we are going to cross over to the other side of the year, which means, we are crossing from 2024 to 2025. We have to thank God for giving us the privilege of getting into the new year.

But lest we forget; we are coming out of Egypt where Pharaoh was our source of misery. So please, don't permit Pharaoh to cross over with you - leave him behind and if he insists offer mid-night prayers so that he can drown in the waters of
the middle passage.

Remember, to give thanks always throughout this day:

1) Thank God for the gift of life given to you and your family.
2) Thank God for all His protection throughout the year 2024.
3). Thank God for all His provision for you throughout the year 2024.
4). Thank God for His time to time victory over all the challenges, temptations in the year 2024.

Jesus is Lord!

Seeking First the Kingdom of God

You have probably heard the saying, "First things first." In life, the first things are the primary things, which comes before all other things in respect to time, order, and importance. The first things should be those things which are above all else - most prominent in our thinking and influential in our actions. For example, if a doctor discovered lung cancer in a patient and told him, "I want you first of all to quit smoking," the patient would not be very wise to start taking medication while ignoring the doctor's primary advice.

When seeking the solutions to problems we face, we often pursue secondary methods and ignore the Bible's primary instructions: "Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you"(Matt.6:32-33).

Friends, seeking first the Kingdom of God is a determining factor in spiritual welfare. Those of us who pursue the Kingdom are given a wonderful promise concerning our basic needs in life: all these things will be added to you. Indeed many of the problems that we encounter in our lives would be eliminated or greatly diminished if we would simply obey Jesus' instructions and put first things first.Therefore, it is essential that we put first things first. The Grace to Build God's House - 10 Days Prayer Journey:
"For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do"(Heb.6:10).
Gratitude:
I want to personally thank you for your prayers and generous support during and after our "Grace to build God's house 10 days prayer journey" of May, 2020. Indeed support like yours make a big difference in the work our ministry has embarked on. Without prayer partners like you, our church construction project can't graciously progress. Surely, you and I together add up to the need. In God, together we can make a huge difference. As a ministry, we have witnessed much of God's grace after the 10 days prayer journey and wish to report to you that this month we are getting back to the project site. However, since our place is abit wetty we are advised to look for stone waste materials. So if anyone knows where there is road construction or building being demolished, please inquire for dumping of waste materials and get in touch with us.
Once again, thank you for being our friends and partners in the Lord. We are really honoured to have you by our side.Please continue to pray and support us as the Lord leads during this time around. We will contact you as soon as the Lord gives us direction and a go ahead for the next prayer journey. Meanwhile we strongly believe that through it all, God still works when we do not realize it. Our dream of a decent church building is now a step closer with the support thus far received and yet to be received. "The God of heaven Himself will help us succeed; therefore, we will arise and build! We will trust His Word and believe in the Sovereign Lord who always keeps His promises"(Nehemiah 2:20).
