MY GREAT SALVATION

Hebrews 2:3 «How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him»

It is an open secret that we are living in the end of ages thus making life very perilous. It’s a season in which life as a Christian becomes harder as the world loudly beckons people back into its hungry belly. If anything should be precious to you in this life, especially in these last days, it must be your personal salvation. Our verse for today says, “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation….” Your salvation is the number asset in your life. Protect it. See that you’re walking in the light of God, in the totality of salvation. He said, “…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:12).

You can be a successful businessman or Pastor, no matter your accomplishments in life, they’ll all be a waste without your salvation. Jesus said in Mark 8:36, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” It doesn’t matter how many conferences you held or attended or how many people you helped; without your salvation, they’ll mean nothing. Don’t trade your salvation for anything and don’t neglect to share Christ with others.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

My salvation is my greatest asset. I shall never neglect what God has given me so freely! Thank you, Lord, for this precious gift in Jesus Name!

VALUE-ADDED ACCESS

Revelation 3:20 «Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.»

I want you to notice something very profound scriptures. This is the Lord speaking, and He is saying that He stands at the door of your heart and knocks. And He does not stop there. He not only knocks, but he also waits for you to open the door. Only then does He come in. He will never force His way into your life. Now, the Lord Jesus is the Creator of the universe and everything in it, including your heart. If He would take the time to knock and wait to be allowed into your heart, that is an indication of the value He places on the access to your heart. You also should place value on the access to your heart. Take great care who you allow into your heart, because whoever is in your heart, commands everything in your life.

Your heart does not have a revolving door. In fact, that access is so valuable that the door of your heart ought to be locked. Once you let someone inside who does not belong there, it is difficult to get them back out. And there is another part of the verse that is often overlooked. The Lord says, if you allow Me in, “I will sup with him and he with me.” The word ‘sup’ refers to a feast. He is showing you that His prosperity becomes your prosperity. That then means that whoever you allow into your heart also has access to your prosperity. Therefore, you would be wise to only allow people – especially friends – who can add value to your life financially and spiritually. If someone is not on an upward trajectory, they cannot be a friend. So, make sure the door to your heart stays locked, and watch out for distractions.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

My connections guarantee my collections. I am Kingdom-fo - cused, and I refuse to be distracted. Wonders without number are my portion, I shall never be distracted.

From a line in the Bible, meaning in context that living a life of sin will only bring one death of the body and soul, while living a virtuous life as prescribed by the church will lead to eternal happiness.

PUSHED INTO GREATNESS

Philippians 4:13 «I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.»

There are things you can do in certain environments that you cannot do everywhere else. For example, you can do things in water that you cannot do otherwise. As you posture yourself in a position of rest, the force of the water pushes you upward, causing you to float. And as you rest in that environment, things happen to you for your benefit without you having to struggle for it. Floating activates the parasympathetic nervous system which is responsible for relaxation, healing, and replenishment. Research further indicates increased visual and auditory sensitivity. In other words, your vision and hearing are heightened. Pain is relieved, your immune system is enhanced, and your mind is able to deeply absorb new material, all because of the environment you are in.

Our scripture for today is awakening you to an environment you are in. The word translated “through” also means “in.” You are in Christ, and in that environment, anything is possible. You experience wonders without number! You speak, and things happen. Healing takes place in this environment. Your mind is synced with the mind of Christ, causing you to have a renewed outlook on life. You function from a position of rest rather than stress, and the force of His Presence is pushing you upwards in life. When you are in Christ, there is nothing you cannot do. It is impossible for you to say, “I can’t.” And it is impossible for anything to be impossible for you!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I refuse to live a “normal” life because I live, move, and have my being in Christ. Therefore, I live in the reality and dimension where wealth becomes easy. I am rising, pushed upwards and forward by the Spirit of God. I am uprooted from mediocrity, and I speak and things happen. Sickness leaves now! Poverty is banished! Nothing is impossible for me today! Amen.

SPIRITUAL TUG OF WAR

Galatians 5:17 «For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.»

Tug of war is a contest between two opponents pulling on opposite ends of a rope. The opponent who drags the rope across the centre line gains control and is declared the winner. Right now, there is a tug of war going on inside you. It is a battle between your spirit and your flesh. You see, when you are born again, it is your spirit that becomes new. That is what the Bible calls the new man. Your flesh is never converted. The new man wants what God wants, but your flesh still wants to live as you did before you were born again. So the two are opposed to one another. In between the two is the rope – your soul, which consists of your mind, will, and emotions. And your soul is controlled by the winner of this spiritual tug of war.

It is important to note that the winner of tug of war is not based solely on the strength of the opponents involved. Strength plays a big part. But the advantage in tug of war is also based on friction. What you are standing on has to produce enough friction to keep you from sliding over to your opponent’s side when the rope is pulled. Without that friction, a weaker opponent (for example, your flesh) can actually win over a stronger opponent (your recreated spirit). The Word of God and prayer give you the advantage in this spiritual tug of war. As you feed your spirit man with the Word of God and fuel yourself with the energy of prayer this year, you will have both the strength and the friction to stand your ground and pull your soul over to the winning side.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

The Word of God in me makes me an unconquerable force. My spirit is strengthened by the Word and energised by prayer. I have the ability to master my thoughts and emotions. And my will is directed by the Spirit of God, who leads me to continuous victory.
