TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL SCRIPTURE

Title: THE SPIRITS OF GOD

Isaiah 11:2 - The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.

John the revelator also speaks to us in chapter 4 of the book of John that 'God is spirit.' Isaiah also tells us the spiritual dimensions and types of spirits that come from God.

God has made available to us his spirits to help us in our christian journey and live meaningful lives.

Their is a spirit of Kindness, spirit of wisdom, spirit of the fear of God, spirit of understanding. Remember in 1 Kings Chapter 1,2 and 3 how God gave Solomon the 'spirit' of understanding.

All dimensions are backed up by spirits. You can pray spirits out of your life you can also pray spirits into your life. You need patience? Ask God for the spirit of patience. All spirits of God can be fully operational in your life. That's why when you do certain things that are in contradiction with that particular spirit, that spirit begins to rebuke you and you feel remorse or regret. May the Spirits of God occupy your body, mind and soul in Jesus name.

PRAYER
My father in heaven, I thank you for the spirits you have released to help us and to work on our behalf. Lord I open myself to receive the impartation of your precious Spirits in Jesus Christ name I pray, Amen.

Title: GOOD NEWS IS COMING

Luke.2:10 - Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

When the Angel appeared to the shepherds, the first thing he said was fear not. Many times when our blessings locate us, the first reaction is fear.

How many times has God blessed us and we run away from the blessing. In this generation we pray and when God answers we are the first ones to run and fear the very answer were praying for? Many times we have casted out our good news sent to us.

Sometimes we even treat the gift of God as an attack in our lives.
May God help us to discern the good news he brings to us. Just like the Angel brought good news to the shepherds, may your own good news locate you in Jesus name.

PRAYER
My Father in the name of Jesus Christ. I align myself to the joy of the good news you have prepared for me. I open my mind and my heart to receive it in Jesus Christ name, Amen.

PRAYER: My father in the name of Jesus Christ, uproot any wickedness and unfruitfulness that was planted in my life by the evil ones. Give me newness of life I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Prayer: My father in the name of Jesus Christ, anyone who is planning my downfall and my destruction let their plans be exposed. Put them to shame and let their plot melt down by the power of the holy ghost in Jesus Christ name.
