Today we praise you.
For the hands that serve in Sunday School.
For the knees worn from interceding for our children.
For the faith that holds families and this church together.
You are spiritual mothers to this house,, nurturing, correcting, praying, and loving us into Christ.
Whether your children are biological, spiritual, or still a promise you’re waiting on, your mothering matters to God and to us.
We honor you. We celebrate you. We thank God for you.
Isaiah 49:15 — “Can a mother forget her nursing child? … Yet I will not forget you, says the Lord.” He sees you. We see you.
