Today, the Catholic Church joyfully celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, also known as Corpus Christi in Latin. This special day reminds us of the wonderful gift of the Holy Eucharist, where Jesus Christ offers Himself to us in His Body and Blood to nourish our souls and save us. As we honor Corpus Christi, may our hearts be filled with faith, love, and thankfulness for Christ's great sacrifice and his presence in our lives. May the Eucharist bring us closer together, grow our devotion, and help us live lives that are holy, peaceful, and dedicated to serving others. Happy Feast of Corpus Christi to all faithful Christians. May Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament bless and keep us always.

Ndola's Archbishop, Dr. Benjamin Phiri, has officially opened the Maria Degli Angeli Convent Girls Boarding School in Luanshya. The school was built with financial support from Missio Invest-USA. It was blessed, consecrated, and officially opened today during a ceremony that included clergy, religious sisters, school staff, students, parents, and other guests.

On behalf of Archbishop Phiri, Very Rev Fr. Ephraim Mulenga Mapulanga praised the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Assisi for their dedication to education and the overall growth of young people. He stated that the Catholic Church continues to share the Gospel through education and healthcare, which he described as key parts of the Church's mission.

Fr. Mapulanga said the school will offer high-quality Catholic education and help students grow in all aspects of their lives. He urged the students to study hard and take full advantage of the opportunities at the school. Meanwhile, Frank Mambala, Missio's Country Coordinator for Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Malawi, thanked everyone who helped fund the school's construction.
