Today the 14 May 2024, I, Pastor Sydney Muyawala, issue a clarion call to young youths, church leaders, the disabled, and women to rise up and take their rightful place in the political arena. It is time for us to shape the future of our nation and ensure quality and quantified leadership.

Young youths, you are the future of our nation. Your engagement in politics will bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and energy to the table. You will shape policies that affect your education, employment, and healthcare, and create a better future for yourselves and your peers.

Church leaders, your moral authority and influence can help bridge the gap between faith and politics. You can encourage your congregations to engage in the political process, advocate for policies that promote justice, compassion, and equality, and bring about a more ethical political culture.

Disabled individuals, your voices and experiences are vital to creating a more inclusive and accessible society. Your participation in politics will ensure that policies address the unique challenges you face and promote equal opportunities for all.

Women, your leadership and participation are essential to achieving gender equality and addressing the gender gap in politics. You will bring a gender perspective to policy-making, inspire other women to follow in your footsteps, and help break down barriers to political participation.

Together, your impact will be profound:

- You will create policies that benefit your communities and promote the common good.
- You will hold elected officials accountable for their actions and ensure transparency and accountability.
