THEME: WHY PROPHESY

SCRIPTURES:
John 4:15-28 and John 14:6

John 4:15-28

15. The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water so that I won't get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water."

16. He told her, "Go, call your husband and come back."

17. "I have no husband," she replied. Jesus said to her, "You are right when you say you have no husband.

18. The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true."

19. "Sir," the woman said, "I can see that you are a prophet.

20. Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem."

21. "Woman," Jesus replied, "believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

22. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.

23. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

24. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."

25. The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us."

26. Then Jesus declared, "I, the one speaking to youI am he."

The Disciples Rejoin Jesus

27. Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, "What do you want?" or "Why are you talking with her?"

28. Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people,

John 14:6

6. Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

PROPHETIC SUNDAY||MAIN SERVICE UPDATE || PARACH DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY: ASSISTANT PASTOR CHARLES MANDA

THEME: FAITH IN THE STORM

Prophetic Word of The Day:

โ€œBecause you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.โ€
โ€“ James 1:3 (NIV)

Revelation:

Faith is easy when prayers are answered quickly, doors are opening and everything seems to be falling into place. But real quality of your faith is revealed when you are waiting, when what God is doing is not clear and when your heart carries more questions than answers. The Scripture of the day reminds us that our faith is refined through trials and not comfort. Contrary to what the enemy whispers during the storm, God is not trying to break you through difficult seasons โ€“ NO! Rather, He is using what the enemy meant for evil to strengthen your faith. The presence of a storm does not mean the absence of God.
Sometimes the very place where we feel the weakest becomes the place where we experience God the most. When your faith is strengthened, it is your faith that will sustain and carry you out of the storm.

As a believer always remember that lack, uncertainty and challenges are not signs of Godโ€™s abandonment but an opportunity for you to trust God more.
Every storm is an invitation to know Him more, depend on Him more and experience His sufficient grace. Faith is like a muscle, the more exercise it is the stronger it becomes. Faith grows when we choose to trust God even without evidence in front of us.

The storm may test your faith, but it does not have the final word. God uses every season; the waiting, the lack, and the uncertainty to draw you closer to Him and build a faith that cannot be shaken.

The situation you are going through is simply an opportunity to exercise
your faith so it can produce more results in your life. Do not mistake the challenge for defeat but see it as an opportunity to grow in faith.

THEME: FOLLOW HIS VOICE

Prophetic Word of the Day:
โ€œMy sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.โ€
โ€” John 10:27 (NIV)

Revelation:

One of the greatest privileges of being a believer is that you can hear the voice of God. Hearing God is not reserved for a few special people; it is the inheritance of every believer. It is through His voice that God guides you into the life He designed for you.

When you stop hearing God, you begin making decisions based on fear, feelings, or human reasoning. But Godโ€™s voice brings clarity where there is confusion.

Every journey requires direction. A person can have strength, passion, and good intentions, but without proper guidance, they can still end up on the wrong path. In the same way, a believer can love God sincerely and yet struggle when they try to walk through life without listening for His voice. A believer who doesnโ€™t hear God is a believer with no direction.

God still speaks today through His Word, by His Holy Spirit, and as you spend time with Him in prayer. The more you seek Him, the more familiar His voice becomes to you.
Many think hearing God is difficult, but in truth, it is not as difficult when His voice is familiar. A radio must be tuned to the right frequency to receive a signal. In the same way, your heart must be tuned toward God through prayer, worship, and His Word.

The closer you walk with Him, the more clearly you recognize His voice. God is always speaking, but many miss His voice simply because they have not acquainted themselves with His voice.
If you want to hear God, spend more time in His presence so that your spirit can be sensitized to His speaking.
