TODAY'S PRAYER๐๐
THURSDAY, 27TH AUGUST 2026.
Heavenly Father, we come before You this morning with hearts full of gratitude. Thank You for the gift of life, for waking us up to see this beautiful new day, the 27th of August 2026.
Lord, we humble ourselves before You just as we see in Your house today. We kneel, we lift our hands, we surrender everything to You. You are the God who sees in secret and rewards openly. Touch every life represented in this picture and those reading this prayer.
Father, we pray for Your church. Bless the servants in the red, strengthen their hands for the work of the ministry. Anoint their voices, their prayers, and their service. Let the spirit of worship fill this place and every home connected to Wilton UCZ. Remove weariness, replace it with fresh fire and boldness.
We lift up every family, every student, every worker, and every business. Provide for those in need, heal the sick, comfort the brokenhearted, and give direction to those who are confused. Let no weapon formed against us prosper this week. Cover our going out and our coming in.
Lord, order our steps today. Let Your favor go before us, Your peace guard our hearts, and Your wisdom guide our decisions. Help us to walk in love, unity, and humility just as Christ did.
We commit this Thursday into Your hands. May Your will be done in our lives, in our church, in Kitwe, and in our nation Zambia. Forgive us our sins and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever.
