The Spirit of God will cause you to move forward, to continue on and pursue your purpose, despite what’s trying to stop you. You may be going through a tough season now. It feels overwhelming. Some people say if you have faith, you shouldn’t grieve. You shouldn’t feel the pain, feel the sadness. We’re human. Jesus wept when his friend Lazarus died. He felt sorrow and heartache. In the Garden of Gethsemane, He was so overwhelmed that He sweat drops of blood. He’s God, yet in His human body, He had these emotions. It’s not a lack of faith to feel things. That’s the natural part of us. On our own, by ourselves, we would get stuck there. When we get knocked down, we’d stay down. But here’s the good news, you can move forward while still hurting, you can trust even though there are unanswered questions, you can praise through the pain, you can speak victory in the middle of trouble.
