West Zambia Conference Participates in the SZBU Impact Community Service Day
June 1, 2026
The West Zambia Conference proudly joined the Southern Zambia Union (SZBU) Impact Community Service Day held on 31 May 2026, demonstrating the Church's commitment to serving communities through practical acts of kindness, compassion, and social responsibility.
Across the conference territory, members from various districts came together to make a positive difference in their communities. The initiative united church members, leaders, youth, and volunteers in a common mission of sharing God's love through service.
The Impact Community Service Day was successfully conducted in several districts including Mongu East, Lukulu, Sitoti, Kaoma West, Nkeyema West, Nkeyema East, Limulunga, and Sesheke West. Participants engaged in a variety of community-focused activities aimed at improving the environment, promoting health, and strengthening relationships with local residents.
The Impact Community Service Day served as a powerful reminder that the Church's mission extends beyond the walls of its buildings. Through these activities, members demonstrated that faith is best expressed through service, compassion, and a genuine concern for the welfare of others.
The participation of the West Zambia Conference in this union-wide initiative not only enhanced the appearance and well-being of communities but also strengthened the church's relationship with the people it serves. The activities created opportunities for meaningful interaction, fellowship, and witnessing.
The West Zambia Conference extends its appreciation to all district leaders, church members, youth, and volunteers who dedicated their time and resources to make the Impact Community Service Day a success. Their enthusiasm and commitment exemplified the spirit of service and community engagement.
As the conference continues to embrace mission-driven service, the impact made on 31 May 2026 will remain a testimony of what can be achieved when believers unite to serve others. Through such initiatives, the church continues to fulfill its calling of being a light in the community and a blessing to those in need.
