Who Are Young Adults?
A Young adult is a Youth in Transition stage to Adulthood where he or she enters in the world of responsibilities casting away the dependence into independent style of life venturing into self-autonomy and self-sustainable.
It is a group that comprises of people the ages
between 25 to 35 or 27 to 40 but this varies from Diocese to Diocese. For now in our Diocese, this group will accommodate members between the ages of 27/28 and 40 Years, also accommodating anyone who is single, married or has a child or children and is below the stated age.
Young Adult is a group born progressively out
of the Senior Youth group who have passed the age from 27/28 to 40 in our Diocese or even those that feel no longer at ease in the Senior group because they feel outgrown.
In summary, the Young Adults focus on:
1. To grow in Personal Identity
2. Growing in Relationships
3. To grow in the Meaning of Work
4. To grow in Spiritual Life
5. Growing a deep and profound love for the Church and its Doctrine
At Parish level you will find a Young Adult in CCW, CMO, choir, Holy childhood, SCC leadership and many others.
