βDonβt wait to be assigned a crusade or a chance for a sermon on the pulpitβGod has already given you a mission territory and an assignment. Go ye thereforeβ¦β Pst. Tarrow Mubanga.
Yesterday, 7th February 2026, Ndeke Adventist Church hosted an enriching Personal Ministries (PM) Seminar that gathered Sabbath School officers, Elders, and Dorcas leaders across the district, with 50+ in attendance. Conducted by LZC Personal Ministries Director, Pastor Tarrow Mubanga, the meeting was a moment of learning and renewed commitment to Godβs mission.
The presentations highlighted the core work of the PM Department, the roles of Sabbath School and the Dorcas Society, and the territorial mission entrusted to every believer.
βOur first responsibility is faithfulness to Godβ¦ even as we serve others, we must continually seek personal salvation and spiritual growth.β Pst. Tarrow.
Leaders were urged to keep Sabbath School alive, organized, and spiritually vibrant, while the church was reminded:
βEvery member is called to be a soul winner.β
βSoul winning is not reserved for crusades or pulpits, but is a daily personal responsibility already assigned by God.β
The seminar further also looked into the ministry of the Dorcas Mothers, inspired by Tabithaβs compassionate service. From its humble beginnings in 1874 at Battle Creek to a global movement today. "Dorcas remains Godβs extended hand of love, guided by timeless principles of love, humility, compassion, forgiveness, and self-sacrifice, expressed through community service and ceremonial ministry." Emphasized the director.
In closing, appreciation was expressed to all participants, with commendation to District Pastor Musunga John for committed leadership and gratitude for the enriching serminar from Pastor Mubanga.
The call remains to serve faithfully, love practically, and proclaim Christ intentionally, beginning where we are.
