SOUNDING DEEP

One of the urges the Holy Spirit helped me overcome was the desire to sound deep or to appear as though I possessed a greater knowledge of God’s Word than others.

I eventually realized that true depth in spiritual knowledge is not measured by how complex our words are or by the use of sophisticated vocabulary. Rather, true depth is demonstrated when someone can communicate profound spiritual realities in such a clear and simple way that even the unlearned can understand.

The purpose of preaching is not to impress people with knowledge or leave them confused, but to bring clarity and understanding. This is why Jesus often used parables. He took deep spiritual truths and explained them through simple, relatable stories so that people could grasp the message.

It takes knowledge to speak in a complicated way, but it takes wisdom and genuine understanding to make deep truths simple. True spiritual maturity is not revealed by how deep we sound, but by how clearly we reveal Christ and His truth to others.

AS A MAN THINKS IN HIS HEART, SO IS HE

One of the greatest battles humanity faces is the battle of inferiority. The way you perceive yourself has a powerful influence on the person you eventually become. Your mindset, self-image, and perception of your future shape the direction and outcome of your life.

If you desire greatness, you must first be able to see yourself as great. Those who rise beyond limitations are often those who believed beyond their present condition. Never allow fear, failure, background, or opinions of people to define your worth. Your life will always move in the direction of your dominant thoughts.

See possibility in yourself. See purpose in your journey. See greatness within you before the world ever recognizes it.

As you grow in your faith, the “open door, closed door” belief may no longer always apply. Sometimes many good doors will open at the same time. In those moments, discernment becomes necessary not to determine which door is good, but which door is right for your assignment, purpose, and season.

Not every open door is your door. Wisdom is knowing which one God is leading you to walk through.

Every challenge, every lesson, every season is shaping you for greater things ahead. You may not see the full picture now, but God is leading you step by step into purpose, strength, and victory. Keep moving forward, keep believing, and keep shining. Your best days are not behind you, they are ahead of you.
