THEME: YOU'RE A SUCCESS

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8).

An orange seed may look small and unimpressive, but inside it is the capacity to produce an orange tree that'll in turn produce multiplied fruits with several seeds in them. Everything the orange tree will ever be is already contained in that seed. The seed doesn't need to "become" an orange; it's already one. It only needs the right environment for what's already inside it to manifest.

If that orange seed had a mouth and said, "I'm an orange,"someone might reply, "You don't look like an orange; stop bragging."But the seed isn't lying or bragging; it carries the orange nature; put it in the right environment and see.

That was how I saw myself when I was still a teenager. I found out I was a success forever because the life of God, His seed, was in me, and I started declaring it and went ahead to start holding "Success in Life Seminars. "I would say, "I'm a success, " and some people wondered, "What's he talking about." But I knew.

I wasn't saying it because I had already done everything I wanted to do. I was saying it because I understood what was inside me. That's the life Christ has given us; you're a success going somewhere to happen. Those who don't know you may say you're not but that's because they don't know your real identity. They don't understand the work of God in your life.

You're God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for endless victories, glory and excellence (Ephesians 2:10). His Word says concerning you that whatsoever you do prospers (Psalm 1:3). Stay in the Word and live true to your identity, and what God has put inside you will manifest in every place.

THEME: HE MADE US GREAT AND MADE US KINGS

๐Ÿ“–And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:2).

Some people struggle with the idea of greatness. They resist it because it sounds excessive or inappropriate. So they say, *"Don't talk about me being great; that's too much."* But God made us great because we're the seed of Abraham. Our greatness was His idea; we didn't ask for it.

It wasn't Abraham who said, *"...O, God, make me great."* It was God who said to Abraham, "...I will bless thee, and make thy name great... "(Genesis 12:2). So, as a Christian, when you shrink back from greatness, it's incongruous with your identity and with God's plan for your life. Ponder the fact that God reiterated with unmistakable clarity in Genesis 17:6 what He had said in Genesis 12:2, *"And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee "* (Genesis 17:6).

Observe that it says, "
Kings shall come out of thee." This is consistent with what the Scripture reveals about us in Christ "... much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ " (Romans 5:17). The literal sense of the word "reign" in the verse above is to "king." It's the verb of kingship.

Therefore, you could say, "They which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall king in life by Jesus Christ." And it gets even stronger. The Bible says He has "...made us kings and priests unto God and his Father..."(Revelation 1:6). Our title as kings isn't futuristic but a present-moment reality. He has made us kings.

What do kings do? They rule and reign. They exercise authority and dominion in their realm. This is why you must never talk like a victim, act helpless, or see yourself as ordinary. You're great, and you're a king. The Bible says, "Where the word of a king is, there is power..." (Ecclesiastes 8:4). Kings don't beg or grovel; they speak with authority. They comport themselves with dignity. Kings manifest royalty.

Every so often, say "I know who I am; I'm great, and I'm a king. I reign and rule in life." You're not trying to hype yourself when you say this but merely affirming what God has done, who He's made you. It's your identity; He made you great and made you a king.

๐Ÿ”Š PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your blessing and greatness at work in my life. I walk in the consciousness of who I am in Christ, reigning in life by your gift of grace and righteousness. My words carry power, my life reflects dominion, and I manifest your glory everywhere, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

THEME: CHRISTโ€”THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE

The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lordโ€™s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? (Matthew 21:42).

We learnt, in our previous study, one of the clearest truths in Scripture: The Lord Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Church. This is not an idea or a mere concept. In Matthew 21:42, He identified Himself as the stone spoken of in prophecy, the One rejected by the builders yet chosen by God to become the head of the corner.

The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, also stated this plainly in 1 Corinthians 3:11, *โ€œFor other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.โ€* That settles it. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only true foundation. No other foundation can be laid.

This aligns perfectly with the prophecy of Isaiah: *โ€œTherefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundationโ€ฆโ€* (Isaiah 28:16). God was speaking here about a Personโ€”Christ Jesus, who also quoted the same prophetic words in Psalm 118:22, when He said, *โ€œโ€ฆDid ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?โ€* (Matthew 21:42).

The rejection of Christ didnโ€™t cancel Godโ€™s plan. It fulfilled it. The One they refused became the cornerstone of Godโ€™s eternal structure. In Acts chapter 4, the apostles proclaimed this truth boldly and made it unmistakable: *โ€œThis is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the cornerโ€* (Acts 4:11).

This is why the *โ€œrockโ€* Jesus spoke of in Matthew 16 is not a revelation, and itโ€™s not Peter. The Scriptures consistently identify Christ as the Rock, the Stone, the Foundation, and the Chief cornerstone. Paul further confirms this in Ephesians 2:20 when he said by the Spirit that we *โ€œ...are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.โ€*

The stability of the Church is Christ, and those who believe in Him are founded on the Rock, immovable and victorious forever! This is the glory of the Gospel. Hallelujah!

๐Ÿ”Š PRAYER / CONFESSION

Iโ€™m founded on Christ, the Sure Foundation and Chief Cornerstone of the Church. My faith is anchored on Him alone and my life is built on His unshakable truths. I walk in stability, confidence and victory because I am founded on the Rock, Christ Jesus. Amen!

THEME: THE CHURCH IS BUILT ON CHRIST

๐Ÿ“– And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church..."(Matthew 16:16-18).

Over the years, many have grossly misunderstood the underlined portion of the Scripture above. Some have assumed the *"rock"* was the revelation Peter gave when he said Jesus was the Christ. Others have even assumed the *"rock"* was Peter himself. But neither of these is true.

The Lord Jesus was speaking about a Person when He said, *"Upon this rock"* He was referring to Himself- Christ! In Greek, the distinction becomes even clearer. The Lord Jesus called Peter *"Petrus"* meaning a stone, but He referred to the foundation as *" Petra*" meaning a rock, a founding stone.

The Lord is that rock. He wasn't saying, *"Upon this 'Petrus'I will build my Church"* but "Upon this "Petra" which is Christ the Rock, a foundation, a sure cornerstone: Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation..."(Isaiah 28:16). Christ had already been known in prophetic writings as the Rock.

So, when Peter said *"Thou art the Christ"* he was declaring that the Lord Jesus was the promised foundation. He was the one spoken of as the sure cornerstone. And the Master responded by revealing the prophetic reality: the Church would be built upon Christ, the Rock, and nothing from hell could prevail against it.

This connects with the prophetic vision in Daniel. Daniel spoke of the stone cut out without hands that struck the image at its feet of iron and clay, and the whole structure collapsed (Daniel 2:34-35). That stone became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

The interpretation was clear *"then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth"* (Daniel 2:35). That's the mountain of the Lord's house.

The stone is Christ, and that mountain is His everlasting as dominion. The Church is built on Christ, and because the Church stands firm on Him, the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. This is the certainty of our faith. Christ is our Rock; we're established on Him forever.

๐Ÿ”Š PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the light of your Word and the certainty of the truth revealed in Christ. My faith is established on Christ, the Rock, and the Gospel prevails in every nation, and the righteousness of Christ is established in the hearts of men, in Jesus'Name. Amen.

THEME: CUT OFF SATANIC INFLUENCES

๐Ÿ“–And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus (Acts 13:6).

Acts 13 gives us a clear picture of how Satan tries to resist the Gospel, especially when itโ€™s about to reach those in positions of leadership. An example is seen in Acts 13:6 when Saul (Paul) and Barnabas went through the Isle of Paphos, preaching the Gospel. The proconsul, Sergius Paulus, whom the Bible describes as โ€œa prudent man,โ€ desired to hear the Word of God and sent for Barnabas and Saul (Acts 13:7). He wanted to know more about Jesus Christ.

But there was someone closely associated with him who wouldnโ€™t let that happen; Acts 13:6-8 the Amplified Classic version reveals it: _*โ€œWhen they had passed through the entire island of Cyprus as far as Paphos, they came upon a certain Jewish wizard or sorcerer, a false prophet named Bar-Jesus. He was closely associated with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, who was an intelligent and sensible man of sound understanding; he summoned to him Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the Word of God [concerning salvation in the kingdom of God attained through Christ]. But Elymas the wise man--for that is the translation of his name [which he had given himself]--opposed them, seeking to keep the proconsul from accepting the faith.โ€*_ He resisted and tried to stop the leader from receiving the Word.

Then the Bible says, _*โ€œโ€ฆSaul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, and said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lordโ€*_ (Acts 13:9-10)? Paul wasnโ€™t speaking by suspicion or emotion; he spoke by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. He called him who he truly was: a child of the devil, an enemy of all righteousness.

Many world leaders have such people around them who distract them from the truth and keep them from hearing the Word of God. This is why we take our stand in prayer to cut off such influences from the leaders of nations. Every so often, in praying for the leaders of nations, governments and institutions of this world, declare that the counsels of the โ€œElymasesโ€ of this world are frustrated and silenced; cut off their influence from the leaders. Pray that all around the world, the hearts of presidents, kings, governors, lawmakers, and decision-makers are open to hear and receive the Word of God and the Gospel is producing results in their lives.

Pray also that the Spirit grants them discernment to recognise deception, and that righteous influences surround them, creating access for the Gospel to be preached, received freely, and spread rapidly all around the world. Hallelujah!

๐Ÿ”Š CONFESSION

The Word of God prevails in the hearts of leaders and decision makers across the nations today. Every satanic influence to resist the Gospel and turn them away from the truth is cut off by the power of the Holy Spirit. Godโ€™s wisdom and righteousness dominate the nations, and His truth is established without resistance, in Jesusโ€™ Name. Amen.

๐Ÿ“š FURTHER STUDY:

1 Timothy 2:1-4 KJV
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; [2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. [3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; [4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Acts 13:6-12 NIV
They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus, [7] who was an attendant of the proconsul, Sergius Paulus. The proconsul, an intelligent man, sent for Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of God. [8] But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith. [9] Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said, [10] โ€œYou are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? [11] Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind for a time, not even able to see the light of the sun.โ€ Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand. [12] When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord.

THEME: HE ALWAYS PRESERVES HIS PURPOSE

๐Ÿ“–And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness (2 Samuel 15:31).

In our previous study, we referenced how Absalom, Davidโ€™s son, led a strong conspiracy against David, his father. Ahithophel was greatly revered as one who spoke from God, but he joined Absalomโ€™s camp, strengthening the conspiracy against David even further. As a result, David prayed to the Lord to turn Ahithophelโ€™s wisdom to foolishness.

But something remarkable followed Davidโ€™s prayer. The Bible says David went up to the top of the mount where
he worshipped God, and right there, Hushai the Archite came to meet him. Godโ€™s answer showed up in the form of a man, a strategic placement.

David immediately understood what that meant and what to do. He told Hushai to return to the city and present himself to Absalom as a servant, just as he had served him, David. The purpose was clear: Hushai would be positioned where he could counter and defeat the counsel of Ahithophel from within Absalomโ€™s camp. This is a striking picture of how God preserves His purpose. Even when satanic strategies rise through subtle counsellors, God has His own people, His own instruments of wisdom and righteousness who can frustrate and dismantle those plots.

Thus, if youโ€™re a leader, it matters whoโ€™s in your cabinet or inner circle, those who have access and can influence your decisions. They must be those who stand as voices for righteousness and truth, those whoโ€™ll cause Godโ€™s purpose to prevail and keep prevailing in our world.

God, in His wisdom, always has His โ€œHushaisโ€ among the leaders of nations, men and women positioned by the Spirit to frustrate wicked counsel and ensure that the will of God is done. Always pray that the leaders recognise these men and women positioned by the Spirit to frustrate wicked counsel and ensure that the will of God is done. Always pray that the leaders recognise these men and women He has positioned strategically to help them preserve righteousness and advance His purpose in the nations. Hallelujah!

๐Ÿ”Š PRAYER

Dear Father, your wisdom and righteousness prevails in the nations as your children uphold the truth of the Gospel and establish righteousness around the world. Your will is done in the earth, and your dominion spreads unhindered, in Jesusโ€™ Name. Amen.

THEME: SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT IN LEADERSHIP

๐Ÿ“–And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, was as if a man had enquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom(2 Samuel 16:23)

Scripture repeatedly warns us about the danger of bad counsel. The Bible reveals this in the story of Ahithophel, a man whose counsel carried such weight that it was regarded as though one had inquired at the oracle of God (2 Samuel 16:23).

He was esteemed, trusted and relied upon, not only by David but later also by Absalom. Yet, despite his reputation, he became a part of an evil conspiracy. When Absalom rebelled against his father, David, the conspiracy gained strength, and the people increased continually with Absalom (2 Samuel 15:12). In the midst of that uprising, Ahithophel joined himself to Absalom.

Then the report reached David: *โ€œ...Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom...โ€* (2 Samuel 15:31). The presence of Ahithophel in Absalomโ€™s camp meant strategic advantage, because his counsel was powerful, persuasive and influential. But David didnโ€™t panic or try to outmanoeuvre Ahithophel by human strategy. He simply prayed, *โ€œ...O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishnessโ€* (2 Samuel 15:31).

That prayer reveals a vital truth: no matter how intelligent a counsel appears, if itโ€™s aligned against Godโ€™s purpose, it can be defeated. This is why discernment is essential for leaders. Not every voice around leaders is sent to help. Some counsellors present themselves as wise, but their intent is to mislead, divide and destroy.

They push out the good, speak against the righteous, and attempt to plant ideas that weaken what God is building. But theyโ€™re not beyond the reach of divine judgment. The Lord can expose them, silence them and turn their wisdom into foolishness.

As Christians, we must understand and take advantage of our authority in Christ to affect nations and their leaders, families and destinies. Therefore, always pray with understanding, that those in authority may be guided by truth, surrounded by righteous counsel, and strengthened to fulfil Godโ€™s purpose. Pray that the Spirit of God will continually grant them discernment to identify and prevail over deceptive agendas, and walk in the wisdom of God. Praise God!
