Evening devotion on Love:
1 Corinthians 13:1-3
I may speak in different languages, whether human or even of angels. But if I donβt have love, I am only a noisy bell or a ringing cymbal. I may have the gift of prophecy, I may understand all secrets and know everything there is to know, and I may have faith so great that I can move mountains. But even with all this, if I donβt have love, I am nothing. I may give away everything I have to help others, and I may even give my body as an offering to be burned. But I gain nothing by doing all this if I donβt have love.
Blessed morning brothers and sisters, hope God's goodness and mercy continues to be us all. Today's scripture touches on love, and throughout the scriptures God tells us to walk in love but why?. God is love and whoever has faith in God must know that God is love therefore walk in love, not walking in prayer, Fellowship or fasting but walking in love. Love is what sets everything to work therefore love. Walking in love is activating your true identity, you a spirit being to find expression of it's purpose or fulfillment to why God created us, to worship Him therefore love is worship.
Let's pray
Heavenly Father we pray today that you may release our spirits and set them to walk, to function to their original design. Father let our spirits find full expression as we go about here on earth. Let your will be done in us just as it is in Heaven. You are love Father, teach us to children of love in Jesus's Mighty Name Amen π
