BREAKING DOWN WHAT BREAKS US

We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair. — 2 Corinthians 4:8

Life doesn’t become easier simply because we wish it would. At some point, every young person has to confront the things that threaten to break them — rejection, failure, pressure, fear, disappointment, expectations, and the uncertainty of becoming who they are meant to be.

“Breaking Down What Breaks Us” was never just a camp theme. It was a challenge:

Face what hurts. Understand what challenges you. Take responsibility for what you can change. And become stronger through the process.

Because you cannot navigate life by running away from every difficult thing. Sometimes, the very challenges you wish you could avoid are the ones that teach you courage, discipline, resilience and purpose.

And perhaps the greatest lesson?

Camp isn't really the place. Camp is the people.
The conversations. The laughter. The late-night talks. The prayers. The friendships. The moments when someone realizes, “I'm not the only one going through this.”

We came together to break down what breaks us — but we may have discovered something even greater:

We don't have to face life alone.

📜 SABBATH IN THE WOODS – BIBLE TIMES EXPERIENCE 🏕️✨

For one Sabbath, the woods looked like ancient Israel! 😂 Shepherds, prophets, queens, disciples... and a few "Bible characters" whose names we'll be praying to remember.
Talk about Music from Voixt 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏾 may God bless your ministry

But beneath the costumes was a powerful reminder: mental battles didn't begin with our generation. Joseph faced betrayal, rejection, slavery, and prison, yet he refused to let trauma become his identity. He trusted God, forgave, and allowed his pain to prepare him for purpose.

Our theme, Mental Health In Bible times reminded us that the same God who carried Joseph through his darkest moments is still able to carry us today.

Faith isn't pretending life is easy it's believing God is with us even when it isn't.

Now excuse us while we return the robes, sandals, and borrowed bedsheets... until the next Bible adventure! 😂
