SUNDAY SERVICE 23-AUGUST-2026
THEME: DELIVERANCE

Deliverance is for the children of God bringing people to freedom from the oppression of the devil.
*Success is from the spiritual realm and manifests in the physical

OBADIAH 1:17 - When a person is delivered, he/she must live a Holy life and then possess their possession
*Without being delivered you cannot possess your possessions.

LAMENTATIONS 1:6 - A pursuer is an enemy who wants to defeat, divide and get your possessions (Deuteronomy 15:9)

MATTHEW 6:9-13 - We should always pray to God for deliverance from the powers of the devil (LUKE 18:1)

DELIVERANCE OF FINANCES
*Money needs deliverance because if it not delivered, it will fight you instead of working for you.
*It also needs deliverance because it carries blood.
*Money must be your slave and subject to you but if it is bound it fights back making you a slave to money.

PROVERBS 23:5 - If not delivered, money grows wings and flies away
*When money is working for you, everything you do gives you a profit.
*When money is fighting you, everything you do becomes a loss. You make wrong decisions, business ideas, or investments all the time

ACTS 17:30 - God overlooks the ignorance of someone who doesn't know about the principles of money in the Kingdom of God but if you know, you will bear the consequences of your disobedience.

MATTHEW 27:1-7
1. Tithe so God can rebuke the devourer
2. Raise an altar by sacrificing on the altar
3. Speak the blood of Jesus upon your money.
4. Pray for the deliverance of your money
5. Send the arrows back to the sender - PSALM 7:15

THEME: NIGHT OF DELIVERANCE

INTERCESSION:
*2 CORINTHIANS 3:17 => Freedom in every area of your life
*EXODUS 15:9 => Deliverance from every enemy that is pursuing your life
*LUKE 13:10-12 => Deliverance from whatever is troubling your life.
*LUKE 4:18 => Deliverance from any captivity upon your life.

OFFERING - ECCLESIASTES 11:1-6
*Giving is an act of worship.
*Giving shows love.
*Giving is a desire to receive the promises of God.
*Giving sets the direction of your hearts
*Giving equips us to be generous

PREACHING
*The one thing that the devil fights in your life is deliverance - LUKE 4:18

OBADIAH 1:17 => Salvation is for non-believers and deliverance is for the children of God because people need to be free from bo***ge.
*Some people have shrines in their hearts that's why you need deliverance.
*These shrines cause you to sin despite receiving God.
*Deliverance comes by fighting

THEME: SERVING GOD & SACRIFICING ON THE ALTAR

No man can prevail by his own strength in spirit soul and body (jobs, businesses, and other forms of investments)
Everyone looks for a spirit to empower them for prosperity and success.

LUKE 4:6-7. Both the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness have poor and successful people.
*They use the same principles of God to give riches and wealth using a spirit that governs one's success.

1 CHRONICLES 21:1-30. The devil uses influence to deceive the children of God into believing in physical strength.
*When you have prayed and fasted and you are faithful in your giving but nothing is changing, sacrifice to raise an altar to God. You will receive your answer. (2 KINGS 4:8-16)

2 KINGS 3:22. What is seen naturally can be very different from what God is doing spiritually. The Moabites trusted their interpretation of what they saw, but they did not understand the spiritual reality behind it.
This connects with serving God and sacrificing on the altar because an altar represents surrender, covenant, worship, sacrifice, and dependence upon God rather than human strength.

THEME: SERVING GOD & DELIVERANCE

JAMES 1:22–24
God’s purpose for our salvation is for us to worship Him through obedience, sacrifice, and action. We are called not only to hear the Word of God but also to put it into practice.

SACRIFICE

LUKE 4:3–10
God has established principles that govern the world, and the devil also seeks to use these principles to influence and give wealth.

- Wealth and prosperity can be pursued under the influence of the spirit of the devil or under the guidance of the Spirit of God.
- As believers, our source and dependence should always be God and His Spirit.

GENESIS 12:14–20 / GENESIS 20:1–14
The Spirit of God was with Abraham and caused him to prosper and become successful.

Many believers desire their lives to move forward without making sacrifices to God. However, we must understand that good health, prosperity, provision, protection, and every good thing come from God.

Therefore, serving God requires obedience, commitment, faith, and sacrifice.

PASTOR’S BASKET - MARK 9:49

The principle of the Pastor’s Basket carries a blessing according to the principle presented in the above Scripture. Giving and supporting the work of God should be done with faith, obedience, and a willing heart.

CONCLUSION
As believers, we are called not merely to hear God’s Word but to act upon it. Our obedience, service, faith, and sacrifice demonstrate our commitment to God and position us to experience His blessings and deliverance.

THEME: SERVING GOD & DELIVERANCE

ROMANS 12:1-2. Worshipping God is not about singing to him but presenting your body as a living sacrifice in spirit, soul and body.
*Your job, business, work, finances, time, marriage, investments, thoughts, speech, or actions e.t.c must be in line with the will of serving God.
*In the Old Testament God told Pharaoh to release the Israelites and he tried to withhold the women and their wealth because he didn't want them to be fully delivered.

MATTHEW 6:25-33. Anything that you put first in your life before God, you will surely lose it but if you put God first you will have everything.
*God wants us to trust him completely by serving him and he will give us the desires of our hearts.

2 CHRONICLES 26:1-5. The price of success is in obedience and following the Lord's instructions and if you are not delivered, you will not obey or follow.

THEME: THE MINISTRY (SERVING GOD)

JOHN 15:1-10. God is looking for people who will bear more fruit.
*You can only bear fruit if you remain in Christ Jesus.
*Jesus loves us so much that he wants our love for him to show through soul winning.

PSALM 92:10-15. You have to be planted in Jesus Christ for you to bear fruit like a tree.
*Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.
*It is the Word of God that you value, accept and apply in your life that builds your future.

MALACHI 3:17-18. On that day when God will be acting in Judgement, you will be a special treasure who's life will be spared because of winning souls to Christ Jesus.

PSALM 37:4. If you enjoy serving God through winning souls, God will give you your heart's desires.

JOHN 12:24. You need to die to self desires and commit to serving God through winning souls.

ACTS 1:8. You need to become a witness of the Kingdom of God testifying to the truth of God by what you yourself have experienced and learned through God's Word.

THEME: THE POWER OF PRAYER

MIDNIGHT TRANSACTION (BISHOP DR OBBY MUSONDA)
*When people are in deep sleep, the body is tired but the spirit is active in the spiritual realm and whatever happens in the night becomes established.

1 KINGS 3:16-28/ MATTHEW 13:24-28
*Your life is business transaction in the spiritual realm between you and God, or the devil.
*As a believer you must know how to transact your time and not sleep while the enemy is awake.
*You need to identify in the spiritual realm what has been swapped and claim it in the name of Jesus.
*Your blessings are your own and no matter what transaction the devil has performed, he cannot use them and you can claim them back when you wake up and pray.

PRAYER!
1. ZECHARIAH 1:18-21. Pray against any horns that scatters your life from every direction (North, South, East and West)
2. PSALM 24:9. Let God come into your life and open all the gates and doors that are closed.
3. JAMES 5:17. You as a believer should stop every evil in your family and make your life productive through prayer.
4. 1 CHRONICLES 4:9-10. Pray for God to bless you and expand your territory.

THEME: THE MINISTRY (SERVING GOD)

*God wants us to grow to a level of serving him.
*The purpose of success in the Kingdom of God is connected to serving God.
*Whether it's a house, job, business, car or investment it should fulfill the purpose of serving God.

JOHN 15:1-8. God wants us to bear more fruit through soul winning.
*You cannot bear fruits if you are not connected to Jesus Christ because only he can push you to win souls.
*Stop focusing on your needs and think about Jesus and impact the world around you.
*God saved us to win other souls back into the Kingdom of Heaven.
*You must act on the Word of God by doing the will of God and he will give you all your needs.
*A follower of Jesus has a heart to win souls and is a true disciple.

JOHN 12:24. If you have not died to the things of the world, thus pride, ego, self esteem or self righteousness, you cannot win souls.

HOLY COMMUNION - JOHN 6:50-53
