THE MIRROR OF SELF-EXAMINATION.

BIBLE VERSE
2 Corinthians 13: 5

"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves." (KJV)

Imagine a driver who never checks his gauges or a doctor who never looks at a patient’s charts. They would be driving blind or treating a disease they haven't diagnosed. We often spend a lot of time "examining" the faults of others—judging their walk, their choices, and their motives—while completely ignoring our own. The Bible calls us to a regular "self-audit." Maturity is the courage to sit before the Lord and ask, "Where am I drifting? Where have I let pride creep in? Am I truly living what I say I believe?" It is much easier to be a critic of the church than a student of your own heart. Real growth happens when you stop comparing yourself to others and start measuring yourself against the Word.

My fellow believers in Christ Jesus, your own heart is the only one you are truly responsible for; do not be distracted by the "speck" in someone else’s eye while ignoring the "beam" in your own. Spiritual maturity is found in the believer who is quick to repent and slow to judge. Strengthening your walk involves a daily "check-up" in the presence of the Holy Spirit, refusing to live in denial about your own weaknesses. As you prove your own self, you will find a new level of humility and a deeper connection to grace. Let the Lord be the judge of your heart. Yield your "defensiveness" to His refining fire today.

PRAYER:

Almighty God, we ask that You would search us and know our hearts today. Forgive us for being quick to judge others while ignoring our own faults. Reveal any area where we are not walking in faith and lead us in the way everlasting. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

GOOD MORNING
Have a blessed Sabbath.

UNITY OF THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS.

BIBLE VERSE
Proverbs 16:3

"Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established." (KJV)

As children of God our works and our thoughts should coincide: meaning our thoughts should work hand in hand with our actions; for this to happen we must commit our works/plans into the LORD’s hands in prayer and He will give us the right thoughts or directions as to how to achieve our works/plans.

This is the only way to ensure unity of thoughts and actions. If we don’t commit our works/plans into His hands in prayer, we will not achieve them because we would have put pride in our heart thinking that God is not necessary to achieve them and this will lead to failure.

Jesus Christ wants to be part of every decision we make so that He can take His rightful place in our life as our Lord and Savior; that is why He gave us the Holy Spirit to abide with us forever (John 14:16).

Therefore let us involve the Holy Spirit in our thoughts/decisions, choices, and every action/work we do and we shall succeed. Hallelujah!

PRAYER:

Dear God, I commit my work and all my plans to You today. I ask that You let all that I’m doing be fruitful in the name of Jesus. Amen.

THE MINISTRY OF THE OPEN DOOR.

BIBLE VERSE
1 Peter 4:9

"Use hospitality one to another without grudging." (KJV)

Think of the last time you felt truly "seen" and "welcomed" in someone’s home. It wasn't just about the food; it was about the atmosphere of safety and belonging. We live in an increasingly isolated world where "neighbor" has become a distant term, yet the Bible presents hospitality as a vital spiritual weapon. Hospitality is the art of making room for others in your life, not just your living room. It’s about breaking down the walls of "privacy" to build the bridges of community. Many believers miss out on the "angels unawares" because they are too busy protecting their own comfort and schedule. Maturity is the willingness to be "inconvenienced" for the sake of another soul. When you open your door, you are often opening a heart to the Gospel.

God’s children, your home and your time are tools for the Kingdom; do not allow the spirit of "self-protection" to close your heart. Spiritual maturity is found in the believer who views their resources as a platform for welcome. Strengthening your walk involves daily looking outward, asking who needs a seat at your table or a moment of your attention. As you practice hospitality "without grudging," you are reflecting the heart of a Father who has made a place for us all. Let your life be an invitation to the weary. Yield your "private space" to His purposes today.

PRAYER: Almighty God, teach me to be a person of true hospitality. Forgive me for being selfish with my time and my home. Give me a heart that is open to others and use my life to make the lonely feel welcomed and loved. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
