SIN ALWAYS TELLS YOU TO WITHDRAW
One of sin’s most dangerous weapons is not temptation.
It is withdrawal.
Sin does not only pull you into wrongdoing,
it also whispers afterward:
“Hide.”
“Stay away.”
“Don’t pray.”
“Don’t go to church.”
“You’ve gone too far.”
"You're too late"
"This is not for you"
“God is tired of you.”
Etc
That voice is not God.
Sin always tells you to withdraw.
But God always calls you to return.
From the beginning, this has been the pattern.
When man fell, he hid.
But God came searching.
When shame entered, Adam withdrew,
yet God still called his name. Even in sin God still knows your name.
Beloved, will you please understand this today?
Withdrawal is not repentance.
Isolation is not restoration.
Silence is not healing.
The enemy knows that if he can separate you from God’s presence, God’s people, and God’s Word, your strength will quietly drain away.
Even in your falling states you still need God's presence, God's people and God's word.
That is why after you fall, you feel like avoiding prayer.
That is why after compromise, worship feels heavy.
That is why guilt makes you stay away from God instead of running to Him.
But listen...
Your failure does not cancel God’s love.
Your mistake does not end God’s mercy.
Your sin does not shock heaven.
This is why Jesus Christ came.
He did not come for those who think they are strong.
He said clearly that He came for the sick, for the broken, for sinners, for people who know they need help.
Do you need help? Come to Jesus today!
Friend, God already sees what you are hiding.
He sees the secret habits.
He sees the emotional wounds.
He sees the weight of sin on your neck.
He sees the tears you cry when nobody is watching.
And instead of pushing you away, He says:
Come.
He is still asking you to come to Him now!
Not when you become perfect.
Not when you clean yourself up.
Not when you feel worthy.
Now.
Because salvation is not a reward for good behaviour.🙏
